Clear its data and cache from Settings>Aplications and re-login. Maybe this will help.

I am of the opinion that 1) an update should be free to all current customers, and 2) until such time that they address privacy issues inquired about, they should not be rewarded with any funds.

2) Probably true, but if someone is not concerned about his privacy, it's better to buy in discount price.

Just wanted to point out that there is now a new free tapatalk compatible forum app called "forum fiend" and it's available on the google play store. This app should eliminate many of the privacy concerns. If however you've already paid for tapatalk there has also been created an app called "tapatalk url fixer" that intercepts all the link.tapatalk.com etc links when you click on them and converts them back to a normal intent that opens the appropriate app...for example clicking a reddit link will once again open the reddit app instead of the browser because tapatalk is trying to intercept ALL web urls.
