No need to install a new rom for testing. Search on google for "Aroma File Manager" and download it. Put it in your SD card and flash it via recovert as a rom. It is touch supported app, so you can test your touch screen problem.

Probably Because no one reported any touch screen issue till now.

The Touchscreen also called digitizer from hd2 is a known problem of some phones... I already replaced myself some. It could get faulty after some usage time cause the chip of it is situated right under the power button where you often press on... So if the problem persists in recovery your digitizer is broken sorry for that:-/ you can test if pressing on the screen right beneath the power button brings it back or has influence to it... But the digitizer needs to be replaced if it's the problem.

I was just about to test ad-hoc wifi, as I recognized that there is not even a menu item for that function in the settings.

Calm down, no problem for us;) But NexusHD2's Settings.apk hasnt a menu option for this too. Did you try to connect an ad-hoc wifi reuter? Did it work?

I created an ad-hoc wifi hotspot on my laptop. I can't see this network in the wlan settings of my HD2 but it is available on a friends iPhone. So for me it seems that ad-hoc wifi is not working with the Settings.apk from the official CM ROM.

Thanks for confirmation. I will send e-mail these anti-virus companies about this wrong alert tomorrow.

as i see my problem is with the power on button, and is cheep of cost and easy to install, one last question, can anyone please tell me how apply the soft keys when doesnt apear after the installation?
