I installed LowSoundFixer 1.08 from a search on the internet . searched words: lowsoundfixer Google-code nexus-hd2

Hi, since my last Post :

With V4.1 : No apps, No SMS/MMS retrieve.

With V4.2 : Apps Ok, but i can't retrieve my SMS/MMS, and after some try, no Data Access (provider: SFR)

With latest (21Jan) V4.3 : Same than 4.2

if i downgrade to V3.3, Apps Ok and my SMS/MMS back, Data OK

i'm using clkmod 5.0.2.6 with PPP

A very strange thing, i make some try and i receive 4 SMS during my use of 4.2, if i downgrade to V3.3, i can't see them, but all my other SMS/MMS are back !
if i upgrade to V4.1,V4.2 or V4.3, i see the 4 sms but none of my old one.

Someone can help me please ?

So. Which radio do you use and please note that many of us use amagld with RMNET there are no problem with SMS

Fixed the problem, installed "Loquendo TTS."

With "Pico TTS" iGO Primo does not work.

Replaced PicoTts.apk now iGO Primo works.

I myself use NativeSD. At least in that case the data sections of the KitKat rom (version 4.?) and the JellyBean rom (version3.?) are separate from each other, so you onle see those messages that arrive when the appropriate rom is running.

I installed the KK v4.3 release from 19.01.2014 over the JB v3.3 with PPP option and no wiping of any caches.
It was ok for me as long as the data was working with mobile and wireless network.

With the minor update for v4.3 released by Tytung on 21.01.2014 to resolve the SD folder access issue with the FileManager, I decided to jump on the train, downloaded the package and installed it over the older release. This again broke the data transfer over mobile network.

I tried several installation flavours without success and finally settled with the v4.3 release from 19.01.2014 and by replacing the initrd.gz in the NativeSD folder with the version from the KK v4.2 release to resolve the Folder access problem as suggested by someone in the earlier posts.

So this is my procedure for those that might be having the same issue with this ROM (Everything on NativeSD):

1. Installed JB v3.3 with PPP option and with complete wipe of the caches (otherwise the phone might remain in continues reboot after installing the ROM and starting Android).
2. Checked and made sure the few apps I needed like Whatsapp and Mail Exchange were working.
3. Updated my contacts with Local Sync or Import from Backup on the SD card with the in build People app
4. Installed KK v4.3 release 19.01.2014 over the JB v3.3 with PPP but without wiping of the caches.
5. Tested to make sure mobile data was working fine, as this is my primary use of the phone besides making and receiving some few calls.
6. Rebooted and while in WinMob 6.5 copied the "initrd.gz" from the KK v4.2 package over to overwrite the one from the v4.3 installation in the NativeSD folder. With this there is not issue with accessing the SD card

Now the version 4.3 release 19.01.2014 is working fine for me with both data over mobile and wireless.
I needed this version baldly as the JB v3.3 was draining the battery faster than the KK

Hope some one with the same issue might find this post helpful.

Once again thanks to Tytung and all posters here who in one way or the other help with their contributions to keep this great phone still usable.

I need a litle help. This rom is very Smooth, and normally i use the "Next Launcher" but this time i'll try to use the Kit Kat default Launcher. But in this Launcher i can't delete any icons. Is this an error or how can i delete them?
