TSF and SPB shells, on the other hand, worked excellent. On HD2, I'm using Nova, ADW EX, Nemus and some home replacements like Crazy Home and they are fast and smooth.

Since I installed this ROM, my touch screen went totally non responsive...

I can't even enter my pin code.

I tried installing several times with the volume buttons, and the buttons below the screen, everything seemed to be OK, but I can't use my phone now...

Does anybody have an idea, o a fix for that?

Thanks in advance and have a great one.

sounds to me like your digitizer is going out which is a common issue with HD2 and not a rom problem as i have 2 hd2s with the bad end key
most either repair it or like me use buttonremapper
to see if you can get it working again you have to press really and i mean really really hard on the red end call key till it lets you use the screen again then install buttonremapper and setup your call key to be the power key

if any one else can add to this please do

I tried it but from Blapk Market, not from Blackmart, maybe the versions differ in some way. Will surely try it and report back. Also using NAND + DataOnExt on Patriot 16Gb class 10.

Seems like there's nothing to add, my call and end hard keys are pretty unresponsive too and I'm using them only when I really have to. Button remapper sounds like excellent idea in this case.

Hi guys,

I have been using nexushd2 kitkat since its release. Recently started facing an issue where suddenly me touch screen stopped working. I was forced to take of the battery or let the phone b in same stage for sometime for it to work.

2 days back i updated to v4.3 thinking that it might solve my problem. But withinh two days the phone is experiencing same issue. The touch stops working sometimes without any reason. I am damn sure that my touch screen is perfectly fine and this is rom issue.

Pls provide me a solution.

Thanks in advance.

When you say that your "touch screen stops working" I suppose that you mean SOD (= Sleep Of Death), i.e., the screen is black, an the phone refuses to wake up when you push the power button?

This happens from time to time, and usually means that the phone is too busy to do something "more important", so that it does not "have time to react to inputs". If the buttons light up when you push the power button, then sometimes the phone may still wake up after you have pushed the power button several times (meaning that it has finished doing whatever it was doing). You may also try to enable "long push on back button kills running app" (the last one in developer options) to ba able to kill an app that has gone astray. Another thing you can do is to enable "Show CPU usage" in Developer options to see which processes use up the most processor time.

If nothing else helps, you can make a clean reinstall, with minimal number of apps. If the phone then works OK, then you start adding apps, one at the time, until you find the one that behaves badly.

So you have a broken Power button like all of us. You should press really hard on it several times to get your screen working again. This is the most related issue on HD2
If you are facing SODs, try to set minimum frequency on 384Mhz or change your SD-Card (for Data on Ext and NativeSD methods)

With any older ROMs I'm using, I haven't faced a screen issue like that. Even after this problem, I messed a little and installed an ICS ROM (one of tytung's) once again and now I'm able to "touch" the screen.

I still don't have an idea what's happening to my phone, and regarding now one of the last messages, seems like I'm not the only one.

Thanks for your responses guys, and I hope any other contribution will also help.
