Hello,
Can someone explain to me why we need a NAND+DataOnEXT for EU to run the rom?
As it Has 512Mo Capacity and we can move our apps to the SD.
Because for me it is very Laggy (I'm waiting for a new class 10 SD but I'd still like to know).
Also I just saw that UHS-1 is not recommended, why? (Shame on me that's what I ordered...)

If you use DataOnEXT, you don't need to move your apps to the SD card. Don't you think that it's more convenient?

Regarding UHS-1: why-not-use-sd-card-class-10-uhs-1-t240.html.

Formated with Task29. although most users and even Tytung said it not necessary to wipe with Task29.
Installed MAGLDR and increased Sys. Part. to 380MB.
With Zip file NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0_V4.3.zip, I moved LowSoundFixer.APK directly to Sys/App
then Copy NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0_V4.3.zip to SDcard and flashed....

Voila.... everything is perfectly smooth. no more lowsound Issue no more zig zag , no more freezing no mre black screen.......

Just want to say. everything perfect after I did it that way LoL

I'm never have problem with gapps not respond only low sound fixer sometime failed, when it happen I just push volume up and it OK..I'm use nand+ext4 data with system pat 283mb-5mb cache.some apps can cause gapps not responding or make our phone slowly and crushed..

I don't think that's entirely true in this case...rom is a word describing this piece of software that we flash, and although that's not the right word for it, it's widely accepted. So, when we talk about this roms, they ARE software by their nature.

Actually, you have 410Mb of internal memory and 512Mb of RAM. It's really modest storage to be honest.
With DataOnExt, you can make an EXT4 partition of any size on your sd card which phone will use as its own internal memory. Another reason for this is that eg. class 10 microSD card is considerably faster than our ancient NAND memory. If properly set, it can give you much better performance in everyday use than than the internal memory itself.

I think you missed the point.

The person whom you replied didn't talk about "this" ROM. He clearly talked about HD2's ROM which is hardware. So I explained it to you. Also, it's not that ROM as software isn't the right word. People understand from the context that it means a ROM image or ROM file.

Hey tytung,
Really love your work, but as Im a real newb to flashing ROMs. Could you please tell me how to flash yours in clk? I have TWRP recovery installed. Im particularly confused about partitioning. Please explain in detail how I may partition the EXTERNAL SD CARD and the 512 MB INTERNAL MEMORY and exactly how much space each one has to be given. If you could make a video tutorial, I will keep you inmy prayers for as long as I can.

So i can set my System Partition every Time to 420 MB and ROM works better - NandDataonEXT !?

I don't understand why must using system partition 420mb coz 280mb partition is enough. I have try 300mb partition but look like the ROM is not completely install, missing YouTube,voice recorder and Google search. So I use 283mb system partition and its fully install without fc problem or normally SD faill to detect.some time application we install can crash the phone expecially download it from blackmart..etc spyware or antivirus its can make SD not detected by phone.
