I have 2 US HD2s, installed v2.3 on both phones, one using Haret and the other using Magldr - both pure Native SD install and identical, so system and data are loaded in Ext4.
CurrentWidget Log -
Phone with Magldr - seeing 2-7ma
Phone with HARET - seeing 10-15ma (can't even perform less than 10ma)

I switched/swapped the microSD card (thought could be a card issue) but after the switch the battery drain on the HARET bootloader remains the same.

I am forced to use Haret as I my USB port is defective. I am able to charge but won't synch with laptop so I can't flash the HardSPL 2.08.

Anyone using Haret? Are you seeing the same battery drain?

I used haret method before and yes you are right battery was problem on haret bootloader. I didnt make stable ppp connections, so I installed magldr. I never used clk or black lk because of ppp connection drops. I think best battery performance configuration is nand install method with magldr. (maybe with lk, I dont know about it)

nand>nand+link2sd>nand+dataonext>nativesd>sd

I tried all of these installition methods and I am using only nand method for daily use.

Yes one of the prices we pay for using Haret is much higher battery drain.

Thank you. I am planning a Nexus 4 though.

does anyone have an idea why battery drains faster using haret? Maybe there is anything we can do in WinMo to decrease drain? I´ve already turned off Sense in WinMo but drain is still always above 10mA.
Since I like the flexibility of haret I´d really appreciate any hint that would help getting the drain low

using nand android is better for battery

After installing Magldr and testing for a week now I found there is a slightly lower battery drain using Magldr over HaRET. I dont know why but its the case. Now I´m getting around 7mA - 12mA in standby instead of 10mA - 15mA. Also it seems my phone operates a little better in terms of responsibility.
Over the day battery lasts slightly longer - but thats more a personal impression - not underlayed with numbers.

I was shocked in the first second when I found out Magldr does not boot WinMo. Not missing it now tough...

Did you try clk ever? Can you compare it with magldr?

No never tried clk. ATM I´m happy with my HD2 he way it runs so I will stick with magldr.
Hopefully magldr2 will be available in not so far future!
