KitKat V4.3 and V4.4. Finish the setup wizard on V4.3.

Found it myself: Start > Settings > Right Softkey > More.. > Today > Items
then booted in KK 4.4 from NativeSD > mobile data still didn't work

So I started flashing again from fresh with KK 4.3 (as I did too many changes in 4.4), Sense in WM6.5 is still deactivated: now I don't have mobile data even in KK 4.3!

Any help is appreciated!


EDIT: I read some of the entries in this thread from Olof describing that he flashed several times the same ROM and observed when it says "Android is upgrading XX out of YY apps" after some flash cycles YY suddenly changed to a higher value. I tried now the same and in my case YY alsways was 78 and after the forth or fifth flash cycle YY read 86 ... and mobile data was available!

Any explanation for that behavior?

I keep on trying now the same for KK 4.4 ...


EDIT: ... and Bingo! ... after one single flash of KK 4.4 over 4.3 (with "no wipe") I have mobile data available on KK 4.4 NativeSD!

Nice that it works now - but strange because I don't get it why that repeated flashing of the same ROM made it.

I am using Wifi Tether 3.3, it work. Make sure you selected the "Google NexusOne" device-profile in Wifi Tether seting.
However, everytime after using Wifi Tether, the wifi don't work. I need to switch on air-plane mode and then switch off, in order to reload the wifi driver.

I'm still on 4.3 and I'm a little afraid to repeat am upgrade. My no of apps is 78.

An explanation of such behavior could be also could for us.

Are you afraid to re-flash your 4.3 because you fear to loose something you installed/configured already?
No worries - if you select "no wipe" while flashing you won't loose anything.

For me the boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/... series was just boring but showed success.

After one day I at least can say KK 4.4 is very stable and smooth!
