EDIT: I read some of the entries in this thread from Olof describing that he flashed several times the same ROM and observed when it says "Android is upgrading XX out of YY apps" after some flash cycles YY suddenly changed to a higher value. I tried now the same and in my case YY alsways was 78 and after the forth or fifth flash cycle YY read 86 ... and mobile data was available!

Any explanation for that behavior?

I keep on trying now the same for KK 4.4 ...

EDIT: ... and Bingo! ... after one single flash of KK 4.4 over 4.3 (with "no wipe") I have mobile data available on KK 4.4 NativeSD!

Nice that it works now - but strange because I don't get it why that repeated flashing of the same ROM made it.

@Olof: do you have any explanation?

I like Tytung roms very much but in most of Tytung roms I Can get working mobile DATA (nativeSd -haret boot from winMO 6.5). Why? It's preety strange becausein other developer's roms mobile data ALWAYS work fine.

In the past i tried to check and change aroma installer for nativeSD from other roms but It was unsuccessful. I remember that change a part of files (simply cut and paste from other zip archive helps) - but now I'm not sure is that really helps or it's simply coincidence.

Everything good on the rom with DAta on EXt and flashing 4.4 post 4.3.. wonderig if enabling ART runtime does any good? :idea:

or could it mess it up? so farso good no Fc's

i tried art and it really slowed down the phone and made it useless

I was not the first one who did this (but I cannot find the original post). But it did work for me. And I have no idea why it worked. And the fix was permanent, so that I have not had any need to repeat this strange procedure.

One theory at that time was that every so often there is a disk chekup utility running, that may fix something??? Som setting that gets mixed up??

... but there also is no explanation why the repeated flashing solves the mobile data issue on NativeSD

Hello guys!
I have a problem with installation.
I had 4.1.2. I want to install 4.4.2.
First I installed 4.3.0. I finnished the installation, setup my account, installed google services, installed nova launcher, etc.
After this I installed 4.4.2 and in Aroma instaler I selected No wipe (I tryied with Wipe Dalvik Cache too), but when I reboot it is asking me to select language. When I push next it written: "The Setup Wizard has stopped".
I did all this without a SIM card in it.

What am I doing wrong?

Just curios: is there a way to have the power soft key on the lock screen in KK, too? In JB it showed up there but no longer in KK. It helped me to prevent the hard power key from being worn out to soon.
I'm using a lock screen secured with PIN (and I want continue to do so).

Tytung, thanks in advance for your work.

I have been running KK since 4.0, before which I ran v3.x, v2.x. Did performance worsen from v3.x to KK? I have observed the following:

Tapping the 'window switcher button' takes a very long time to bring up the list of open apps.
Trying to play a simple game (say Flappy Bird) while listening to Apollo significantly worsens the experience for both apps
The idle CPU usage is very high; 2.3/2.9/3.2 in my case after restarting the phone, letting it idle for a couple of hours and checking the CPU usage.

I would have posted a screenshot for #3 above, but the ability to take a screenshot via the power button is gone. Anyone know how to restore it, or take a screenshot without it?
