I know it is not you who programs the ROMs but I come to make a request if possible: :)
- in WM6.5 version, when we use the key to making calls, the first goes to the keypad and the second will makes the connection according to the last call made or received.
- in Android, this key is set to go only to the numeric keypad. When used again, does nothing.

This key can be reprogrammed to have the same function as in WM? Facilitates the use of Smartphone especially when we have busy hands. :D

thank you very much

Pedro

I have not tried this myself but you *may* be able to change button behavior with a button remapping app from the Play store.

Sent from my Nexus 4

Cheers!

Nexus 5 is really fast. You can't feel any lag at all. And is relatively cheap as compared to other phones similar like Samsung GS4 or perhaps GS5,Nexus One and IPhone 5S - ($399 from Play Store).

You can't compare Nexus 5 to our HD2. Let us face it, HD2 is a 3 or 4 year old technology with 500+MB memory only. And with Apps getting bigger and bigger in size, you can feel the struggle and reliability is now on the downside. HD2 has already done a lot and tough to push it for more. It is like installing Windows 7 to a machine with Pentium on it with limited amount of memory.

As for Nexus 5, I read lot of reviews and majority are positive. I think I made a good choice. And btw, Tytung has a Nexus 5 too.

Thank you for the information. I might buy Nexus 12. I plan to use my HD2 for at least 10 years. :)

For me the boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/boot-KK/boot-WM/flash/... series was just boring but showed success.

After one day I at least can say KK 4.4 is very stable and smooth!

... and not to forget: a BIG THANK YOU to you, Tytung!

@golf
Thx for your advise.
I did it yesterday evening. I had to repeat the update process only four times.
After that, mobile data transmission starts working.

Also thanks to you, TYTUNG, for the marvelous ROM

I have been running KK since 4.0, before which I ran v3.x, v2.x. Did performance worsen from v3.x to KK? I have observed the following:
  1. Tapping the 'window switcher button' takes a very long time to bring up the list of open apps.
  2. Trying to play a simple game (say Flappy Bird) while listening to Apollo significantly worsens the experience for both apps
  3. The idle CPU usage is very high; 2.3/2.9/3.2 in my case after restarting the phone, letting it idle for a couple of hours and checking the CPU usage.

Bump #2... I am using NAND+DataOnExt/SmartassH2/DEADLINE. Can someone please let me know whether my idle CPU usage is too high?

In my opinion the perfomance is like this:
CM9.1>CM10.1.3>CM11>CM10.2>CM10
I had the best and smoothest experience with CM9.1. I am seriously considering switching back...

Hi tytung,

v4.4. just realized the wifi hotspot security (WPA2 PSK) works on Android, but iPhones (tested on two) can connect to it without a password. Any suggestion?

Has DroidWall been updated for KK? If not it probably will not work correctly. There are many Android components which use data and it is difficult to shut them all down without creating other issues.

Anyway, if you want, try AFWall+ which I know it's up to date. Don't worry about the icon color, just check data usage.

ITS solved. for anyone using droidwall, here is the working alternative: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... idfirewall
