Here is an update to the softkey mods for V4.5 of Tytung's Jellybean ROM. There are two modifications, landscape softkeys and a soft power button.
The installer ZIP file can be downloaded from this link:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22856583/NexusHD2-KK_V4.5-SoftkeyMods.zip. The file is flashable from recovery. There are individual options to select the landscape softkey mod and the power button mod in any combination.
I suggest that you first install or update your phone to V4.5 of Tytung's ROM and boot it up before you install these mods. A few minutes after boot-up, go back to recovery and install these mods.
Installing the power button mod replaces the CyanogenMod navigation bar editor search button with a visible power button. After installation, you have to turn on the mod by going to Settings->Interface->Navigation Bar Buttons and layouts. Click the lock icon, then the small plus sign at the left of the navigation bar. Scroll to the power button option and click it. Finally, click the lock icon again.
With the latest Cyanogen mod features, the power button mod is not as useful as it used to be. You can go into the Settings menu, to Interface->Status bar and enable double-tap to sleep. With this feature, you double tap anywhere on the status bar and your phone goes to sleep, just like tapping the power button.

On a different subject, here is my opinion on installation of this ROM. DO NOT attempt a NAND install. This ROM is too big and the non-volatile memory of the HD2 is too small. You may be lucky and get it to work, but you will have very little room left for applications. Instead, use DataOnExt or NativeSD. First, repartition your phone to have a 400MB system partition. Partition and format your SD card per one of the excellent guides available. Make your EXT4 partition at least 2GB. Finally, keep your expectations in check. The HD2 is a legendary device, but it is very old. By today's standards, it has a slow CPU and a very little memory. Don't expect it to perform on par with the latest flagship devices that have just been introduced.
