I know this is crazy to even think about, but do we have any hope of having Android L at some point....

Not much hope just a wishful thought coz when I tried ART which will be the standard in the upcoming OS my HD2 was very unstable.

But with Tytung anything is possible. I know I need to buy a new phone but HD2 and Samsung Note 8.0 are working very well for me. I just have to remove the sim card from the tab whenever its not convenient to carry the tab and I need to throw the phone in the pocket. That Sony Xperia Z2.......

Android 4.4.4 will be a new update? Mr. Tytung,we want to beleve.

Never ask ETA anyway for Android L I don't think ART will be the biggest problem, because it take longer to install apk so it's more NAND intensive during installation but it's less CPU intensive during execution... That means we don't need better hw just for ART.
A big problem could be new transition and animation, L seems to use more hw acceleration and our gpu isn't so powerful... I hope we could disable all those effects
