1, Dial pad works fine just checked
2, Calling almost instant
3, No flickering seen ever
4, Apps have always been a little slow to open no matter what or who's version of Android I have installed but we are running the latest Android on a windows phone from 4 years ago
I believe its the launcher which i have running on the phone. Am using Nova Launcher with a UCCW Skin which looks much nicer than the HOLO ,but probably would be the reason for the flickering if you havent tested it with something other that the standard HOLO launcher in the rom.
The next thing I've done which may me wrong is the system partion , now the new rom uses 310mb and the last size I had made for the 4.4 and 4.5 was 350mb. Perhaps making this size to 400mb would make a little more better performance as a better buffer.
As for the phone it is practically new in the sense that it was bought from a store which had a old warehouse stock 2 years ago and was clearing out. My best guess is for me to try the rom with its original Tribuchet and HOLO installation and run from there to see what happens.
Thanks for looking into it man ...apreciate it, gives me a better insight of what am doing

It happens with every network. It looks like the networks (even with full connection) are avoided as a 'poor connection', even though that option is turned off. My other phone picks them up no problem. I tried reflashing, still the same problem.
[Edit]
I should add that after a very long time of verifying, I get the message "poor connection avoided". I get it when the option "avoid poor connections" is turned on in 'settings', but also when it's turned off, as though it's always on, no matter the settings. Is there another place to disable this?

Just installed v4.3 again, and wifi works without problems... so it has to be an issue in v4.6.
