But heres the strange part....
It does still work ok in Windows Mobile 6.5 & Windows Phone 7.8
Ive tried:-
Installing all to NAND
Installing to NAND with data on EXT4.
Ive even had a go at running AmeriCanAndroid on SD (For those of you who remember running clrcad.exe and haret.exe!)
It still wont rotate in Android but works every time in either version of Windows.
Anyone got any ideas?
Unfortunately this is an old, and as far as I recall, unresolved issue. It appears that there is a general issue with a sensor (g-sensor perhaps) after a screen replacement has been done due to one or more new parts now I use. As you said, everything works fine in Windows Mobile but not in ANY android rom after the screen has been replaced. My guess would be that a new (or updated) driver is needed but I doubt HTC will create a new android driver for an old WinMo device.
If someone has come up with a solution since I have last seen this talked about I haven't seen it, sorry.
