According to a PM received from him today his time has been limited and although he may try to update the extended version I would not expect him to do so very quickly. As the TV show Kung Fu said: "Patience, young grasshopper". ;) He will surely do so as his schedule permits.

Cheers!

Hi guys,

My first post in this forum :!: , so first of all I'd like to wish good luck to tytung and all involved people in this effort.
I have stayed away from xda the last month, but as long as my hd2 is alive I will keep brainstorming and keep sharing whatever I can.
Returning on topic, I did compile the last version but to be honest I never got to test all of the functions (for example I didn't test restoring any backup), so if you find any problems please report them (preferably @ xda thread) and I will inform TeamWin.
As for the Extended version, I need some time to test the new code in twrpTar.cpp, because I had some issues when using compression.
And then, if it's OK with tytung, I could post a thread for the Extended TWRP here too.

Regards!

You need to edit your flash.cfg and reflash your recovery again. So, please make a nandroid back up firstly.

If you want to recovery partition size = recovery image size, you need to modify your flash config like this:
Code: Select all
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize recovery-raw.img

If you want to recovery partition size = 10 MB (for example), you need to modify your flash config like this:
Code: Select all
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr 10M recovery-raw.img

If you want to recovery partition size = recovery image size + 5MB (for example), you need to modify your flash config like this:
Code: Select all
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize+5M recovery-raw.img

How did you install your recovery? Open this folder and edit "flash.cfg" file.
