The Problem with NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1 V2.5 settings.apk and obad-d seems to be still a fp with avast. Any news on that front?

If I were you, and I am not, and if I had the problem with Avast, which I don't, I would get on their ass and tell them to fix it.

Since we are talking about false positives, I do not see how it is Tytung's problem. All of you experiencing this issue should gangbang Avast!

The fullscreen cutoff problem looks to me like a bug in the Cyanogen code. I suggest reporting it to them using their issue tracker at http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Jira.

The idea of a navigation bar that is not as high as default is very easy to implement. I'll keep it on my to-do list for the next time Tytung changes the ROM and see if I can come up with an option for that.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that the spacing problem is that complicated. For the time I switched to a 6 button Layout which isn't optimal for me cause i like my hombutton in the middle of my screen, but better than missing your power button :D

For the cutoff issue I'll report it at the Cyanogen issue tracker ad soon as i can. Thanks for the link.

Nice to see that there hopefully will be an option for Navbar height in the next update. I'm looking forward to it :D

Have to go to work now.

Hi,

I just upgraded from v2.4 by doing a full wipe and installed v2.5 on DataonEXT with full installation, no softkey, PPP. It seems upon initial reboot, the initials "HTC" came up and then a blank screen. Pulled the battery out and did it again. Gonna manually format each mount and reflash to see if it works.

30 minutes later.....Update: just reflashed, so no joy..

What size of your NAND system partition? Try increase it to 390+ in case you have bad NAND sectors.
Most Flash failure due to small NAND system partition.

I did report the fp from the phone and from my machine at home. Usually avast is rather quick with changing their definitions. But apparently they still think there is something wrong with it.
Besides none said "Hey Tytung, go fix this!" He Dled the source in an attempt to make sure it's ok. I personally was wondering why this started with V2.4.

I scanned V2.5 settings.apk out of a fresh DL from DepositFiles (checked the MD5 too) and got 8 out of 44 positives :? :
https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/2638 ... 375878577/

I Uled the settings.apk to avira (who also detected it as obad) as possible fp and would gladly post the answer I get.

Hmm.... I might try that. Sounds odd tho. There must be a reason they updated/changed settings.apk, eh?

Hi,

The system NAND is 285. I didn't change it. Does v2.5 require a much higher size? I'll try 390. Thanks.

Maybe your HD2's NAND has some bad blocks.

Hi dadash, there is a Q&A thread for this rom here q-a-and-troubleshooting-for-nexushd2-jellybean-cm10-1-t13.html
Oddly, your previous posts were posted there, yet you decided to post about your SDcard problem here.
Please provide as much information as you can when you post there, installation method, hd2 type (EU or TMOUS), any logs, sdcard type, what you did, also whether you have formatted your sdcard recently.
Thanks
