Hello all!

After using this ROM for quite a while, I would like to make some remarks:

- Battery consumption is pretty high ... about 12 mA in StandBy (I get 2 days of low usage with extended battery or 2%/h in StandBy ... so that's 4%/h with standard battery)
- LowSoundFixer still does not work for notification sounds (and just them!) over bluetooth, thouhg I have moved the apk to /system/apps
- What about the Data transfer indicators on the 3G/Wifi symbols? Will they ever come back?

I am using NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA V3.0b as my daily ROM still because it feels much faster and snappier. To me it seems the CPU in KitKat v4.3 is constantly busy or anything else is causing CPU slowdown. Homescreen transitions laggy.
Does anyone else have the same experience? Could it be related to HWA? Any tweaks for this?
I was running Quadrant benchmark and CPU test takes forever. So Im assuming there might be an issue with CPU. ICS is running perfect from same SD-Card.

My setup:
HD2 512
Radio: Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14
Bootloader: Magldr v1.13
SD-Card: Samsung 32GB Class10
InstallType: NativeSD (fresh install, only Quadrant from GPlay)
CPU-Speed: 245 - 1113 MHz
Governor: Smartass V2
(same settings in ICS and KitKat)

Hello ra9na,

1. You should monitor the apps for excessive drain using an app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.msd.battery.indicator&hl=en or find any that suits you.

2. There are known issues with the bluetooth, I don't know if they are fixed yet or if they will be fixed soon

3. For the transfer indicators read this http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/11/18/a-google-engineer-explains-why-kitkat-has-white-status-bar-icons-and-only-shows-connectivity-in-quick-settings/

I don't know what sd card you are using, but i just tried something that made the homescreen-transitions VERY fast!

I wanted to customize the homescreen more (type of transition etc)
So i found Nova Launcher in the PlayStore. Under "Look and Feel" you can adjust scroll and animation speed for instance.

I find it better than the Launcher3 that comes by default and was less customizable than the one that came with tytungs android 4.3.

This is a tipp for everyone!

Nova Launcher is one of the best launchers out there, fast, smooth and very customizable. I've been using it since v1 on every rom I flashed, and on all other devices, including tablets. And with Nova Prime, there are a lot more options, like assigning actions/shortcuts/apps to tap/double tap/triple tap, even locking your screen from home screen with a single tap. For me, the best launcher ever, no doubt.

OK to get lockscreen notifications to work you have to edit the build prop

Change the ro.config.low_ram=true to false using build prop editor
I.E
ro.config.low_ram=false
Then reboot phone

Then you have to go to locksreen settings and tick custom widget and maximise widgets see screen shot below

Hi,
I've tested this, it works but it heavily slows down my phone...so I came back to previous settings, and gave up widgets on my lock screen.
@tytung : camera widget on the lockscreen uses Focal, that doesn't work for me with this rom : is it possible to fix Focal pb or to use camera you included instead of Focal from the lockscreen widget ?
