Hi tytung,
first I wanna thank you for your great work. This ROM is really fast and works better than any other ROM that I've tested so far. I'm happy that you are still supporting the legendary HD2.

I've checked the Settings.apk of my Phone ("NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1 V2.4" installed yesterday on a clean SD-Card) and got three hits at virustotal.com:
Comodo found:
UnclassifiedMalware Kaspersky found:
HEUR:Backdoor.AndroidOS.Obad.aTrendMicro-HouseCall found:

Maybe these are all false positives and of course I really don't think that you've added a virus to the ROM.
But nevertheless these results makes me a little bit nervous.
tytung wrote:It's interesting. Maybe you could download an official CM ROM of a different phone and check its settings.apk.
I've checked Settings.apk extracted from three official CM ROM, namely:
cm-7.2.0-cooper
cm-10.1-20130712-NIGHTLY-maguro
cm-10.1-20130712-NIGHTLY-jewel
All three files don't give a positive result at virustotal.com.
Finally I replaced the Settings.apk on my phone with the one extracted from cm-10.1-20130712-NIGHTLY-jewel and it seems that it works without any problems.
Within the next days I will check all files on my phone for malware. But maybe it's better to wait for a new version of your ROM. CM 10.1.2 is already released and because of the nasty “MasterKey” exploit I could hardly await an update.
Thanks again for your hard work.
