Totally. Same for me. I even reverted back to 4.3 which for me is the most stable yet. Although it has the problem with LowSoundFix crash, it can run for weeks without restarting.

Apologies if this error had been commented upon before and if so, kindly point to the post/page. I have a UK LEO 512MB.

Am new to the HD2 Android changer game and have tried ICS NAND which is AOK. Seeing tytung's latest CM11.0 V4.5, greed/entertainment beckoned and gave it a go and have come unstuck. Pls help if you don't mind.

Tried with 2 microSD cards, namely a Sandisk 8GB Class 4 [black coloured] and a Sandisk 32GB Class10/UHS-1 [red coloured - because this was "lying around"].

Partitioned both mSDs with a FAT32/32k cluster and EXT4/default cluster accordingly. Used MiniTool Part Wiz. everytime without any help from that EaseUS Snoop Monster whose "agents" are "processing-up" whenever they are able to. What an active DNA of The Chosen Few - unless you are running your PC from a USB stick.

Installation process [everytime] is Task29/Wipe > HSPL 4 [2.08 HSP] > Radio 215.50.14 > MAGLDR 1.13 > CWM Rec 1.3/250MB

Tried V3.3 and both mSD cards are OK for NAND + EXT4 [Option 2 used because it is a LEO 512MB]

For V4.5 [the very latest], went straight into this ROM without installing the previous versions [4.3/4.4] first. Was this a mistake? Since its a LEO 512MB, tried only 2nd [NAND+EXT4] & 3rd [NativeSD] install options.

The 2nd Option always gave a Black Screen after the green htc logo - very similar to trying to install the 1st option [all NAND for LEO 1024MB] in a LEO 512MB. By some coincidence, the installation progress bar for both Opts 1 & 2 during installation stops copying files at 60.xx% before turning to "permissions" and so forth.

For Option 3, which is successful, the installation is different with the copying of files going beyond 60.xx% before the "permissions" ending part of the installation. To me, this either means that I am a fully-fledged idiot or I have a somewhat defective HD2 and/or that the 2nd Option for V4.5 is not copying the requisite files to the EXT4 partition needed by the "CYAN robo with the circle going round it" composition part which follows after the green htc logo part. It is like the 2nd [Installation] Option is treating the HD2 as a LEO 1024.

Should tytung be reading this, would you mind enlightening me please with admonishments, errors, faults and stupidity gratefully accepted. Thank you.

Resize your system partition to 400 MB.

Thanks for the advice soren.

Btw, when you say "system partition", do you mean the FAT32/32k cluster partition? If so, will give it a go and report back.

In addition, is it possible to Dual Boot this latest V4.5 ROM. If so, would you mind suggesting the quick steps involved? Just asking because the HD2 is lying around for itchy hands.

No, I mean your system partition on NAND. You can use HD2 NAND Toolkit to resize your system partition. You will lose all data. Dual boot V4.5 and what? You can use Windows Mobile on NAND and use V4.5 Native SD installation.

Thanks for that soren. Will give it a go.

Btw, for dual booting WP7.8 on NAND with Android on the mSD, I have got to the part where I've had partitioned the mSD into 3 partitions, namely FAT32/32 for WP7.8 bossy requirements, and successfully partitioning the other 2 with EXT4 partitions without bossy WP7.8 noticing it [ha-ha !!] but do not know how & where to place the Android ROM and the Recovery. That's when I moved onto the idea of giving tytung's excellent V4.5 a try. Other than the low volume [but getting louder by the "drop BT & then call" technique, the missing ringtones and DSP are a challenge. The removing of softkeys are also fantastic - it seemed to have improved the mobile signal too. Btw, what happened to ty and Da xda crowd or is that being too nosy.

You can use tytung's NativeSD Touch Recovery.
