I just installed this ROM on my wife's HTC HD2 and it's running very slow and getting hot. Can anybody help me please!


HTC HD2 EU version

Radio - 2.15.50.14

HSPL4 - 3.03 HSPL

Boot up splash screen - Custom

Bootloader - cLK 1.5.2.1 (black_lk_20130506-NoRec.zip)
Kernel @ boot [NAND]
Default CPU Freq - 998 Mhz
ExtROM - Enabled
Partitions
Recovery - 5MB
Boot - 5MB
Misc - 1MB
System - 350MB
Userdata - 79MB (auto-size)
Cache - 5MB

Recovery - ClockWorkMod 6.0.2.7 (recovery_6.0.2.7_leo_CWR.zip)

2GB SD Card partitioned as ( 1 GB FAT32 primary partition and 0.9GB EXT4 primary partition)

ROM - [July 13, 2014][ROM][KK][4.4.4][720p] NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0 V4.6 [Kernel: tytung_jellybean_r2]
Installed through sideload using ADB
Install method - NAND with DataOnEXT
Native Mount DataOnEXT (initrd_patcher_v2.zip) script installed through sideload using adb

Hi all, I use this ROM now some days and today I have issue with the sound.. I can barely hear ringing when someone call me or SMS tones I don't know where that coming I have the same setting from the install ... Other sound from apps or system work fine any idea ?!

interested why you chose 3.03 hspl instead of 2.08, also it seems you used the patcher script instead of using the dataonext option in aroma.
check your battery pins have good contact.
Not sure if recovery partition should be 6mb for that recovery version.
Have you checked md5sum of your download.
Can't think of anything else for now.

its a high speed sd?

Mine was also running too slow with data on EXT method install. I had bought a good speed card for same purpose, seems its not good enough (havent run a benchmark yet).

I solved it by installing cronmod script on nand install of this rom. but another problem popped up. no sd card!!

I solved it by installing link2sd. gives best result for me as far as internal space and speed are concerned.

give it a shot.

When I have 4.4.2 and want to 4.4.4
Is it OK only to install it over ?

Another problem I had so far in all of ROMs. The applications that are listed in HWA app appear to be randomly. Every time I start HWA other apps are listet, rarely the one I want

You needs clean install friends, use hd2 tool kit. I recommended you to partition 320mb+5mb cache.
