i can't find the setting either, don't think it is in cm11.
try using file manager with /system access granted and go to system/media/audio/ui ;there find camera_click.ogg and select it, Apollo should play the sound. if no sound try replacing it with one from another rom

Hi Robbie

Tried that already (system/media/audio/ui) and the click plays OK but not when using the camera app or any camera app for that matter. So the sound file ogg is ok but no camera seems to be finding it.

with magldr, NativeSD roms are usually booted from ad sd (from sd card) and installed using an sd recovery. So there is nothing on nand (hence can have wp7 there)
with haret, nothing android is in nand too.
users can have a nand android rom and have nativeSD roms using both clk (sboot, tboot etc) and magldr

Ok. I willpost a initrd for you to test in a couple of days. Just have MTD's userdata repartitioned to be atleast 350 MB (or more) - you cannot have a WP or another ROM in the NAND though :)

Hi, I Installed the last version and i can't sign in in my google account since i've the two step security sign in system when i receive my code by text message the sign-in browser open but it's totally black... i tried clean install twice but the issue it's still there.. as a workaround i disabled the 2 step sign-in just for the time necessary to sign on the hd2 so the second step wasn't required and i was able to sign-in. Anyone else had this issue?

i can get 445mb of userdata in mtd using magldr.
enable last 24mb nand
edit a flash.cfg from a nand recovery to just have the line "userdata ya|asize|hr allsize" and flash it with daf.exe
Should be plenty

Hi guys,

I just upgraded from the V4.4 to the V4.6 ROM two days back. Using the same configuration for the new V4.6 setup as for the V4.4 i.e. installed with DataOnEXT with the required NAND system partition space increased to 350Mb from 300Mb for the new version. It was a clean install after wipe and I've also switched from my 8Gb class 4 SD card to a new 32 Gb card class 6 SD card.
There no issues faced here apart from the usual suspects like blank results screen in Google Now search, glitchy browser display when enabling Quick Controls option, etc. Feels like a solid ROM all over.

One major issue that I have found concerns the GSM mobile network connection. In V4.6, I am unable to switch to my home network when roaming. In V4.4, I could manually select my network and the phone would detect it as my home network provider and resolve the roaming network sign. In V4.6, I am able to select the same service provider as before but the phone still recognizes that as my roaming network. (this means I can't connect to the internet as I have to keep my data on roaming switched off to keep my phone bill down :( )

The mobile data and network connection worked fine when in my home network area, but since I work in a different location, I nee to be able to connect to that same provider in order to "stay on the grid".

A little follow up on the matter.

I have managed to install the version 4.5 kikat on my HTC-HD2
These are the few problems I have encountered so far and just wished to help with it to give a positive feedback after donation.

After installation:
(1) Unstable flickering when lowering the keyboard during conversation on WhatsApp
(2) Audio drivers gets taken over from Viber and doesnt give any sound ring when called ,until its rebooted.
(3) GPS position only works with mobile data ,Device drivers does not start or run the GPS Location.
(4) No camera timer for self pictures.
(5) Phone starts up and opens up in Apolo player mode, and crashes.
(6) Google map errors when trying to use the navigation.
(7) Google Chrome continuously hangs and crashes.

Done to try and help the above issues:
(1) Shut off all HWA settings..its kinda helped how ever the flickering still comes from time to time.
(2) Removed Viber ..Using DingTone at the moment and has been stable ever since installed, a good tip
(3) Placed GPS Injector and update it once a week ,Internal device GPS drivers still seem problematic. Using MapFactor with installed maps to find locations.
(4) Looking for an alternative camera program , JellyBean has a camera with timer. Something to look at
(5) Removed all songs from library ,Apolo cant start up a song on its own any more.
(6) AGPS-Injector seems to have solved the issue with the location crash.
(7) Disabled the speed menu which scrolls out on the right corner of the browser. Crashes are gone however still has its hang and freeze up problems.

I will install the version 4.6 with in some weeks and see if the developments are okay
Thanks again for the wonderful ROM

Keep us posted my friend.

Hi all.

[First of all, I am French, so sorry for my potentially bad English. I would be glad for corrections ;)]
I am quite a newbie in ROM installation and I have no experience in ROM development.

I have an issue after installing this ROM: the phone boots, I see the HTC logo and then I have a black screen (but I see that the screen is on).
When I press a button, the light under buttons lights.

For the détails:

I choose the "NAND with DataOnEXT" version of this ROM.

I make 2 partitions on my 2GB SD card (half FAT32 and half EXT4)
I use the default cluster size on my FAT32 partition, because Gparted don't allow to change this. Is it important ?

I use Magldr 1.13 to install the ROM.
I had no error message on ROM installation.

I probably missed something because I was unable to set up the partition table size :
tytung wrote:The required system partition size is as follows:
  • Full install: 310 MB
  • Minimum Install (i.e. custom install with everything unchecked): 295 MB
  • When installing this ROM to NAND, please use the following partition table size

    misc ya 1M
    recovery rrecov|ro|nospr 5M cwm_recovery_leo.img
    boot yboot|ro 5M
    system ya 310M
    cache ya 2M
    userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

How I can do this things ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
