Hi:

I have a question about this ROM...does this build (Kitkat) have remote SIM/Phonebook access profile for bluetooth?
I really need it for my HD2.

with haret, nothing android is in nand too.
users can have a nand android rom and have nativeSD roms using both clk (sboot, tboot etc) and magldr

All - THIS IS A TEST VERSION for DalvikOnNAND (mounting userdata in the NAND as the Dalvik Cache - read more in the DataOnEXT thread in XDA) with Native SD. I have not tested this, as I do not have a NativeSD setup and @Robbie P is testing how this works. If you have a NativeSD install, and DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING INSTALLED IN NAND except maybe boot and recovery, you can try this. Make sure you shrink the NAND's system partition and have a MINIMUM size of 300 or 350 MB in the userdata partition in NAND.

Dalvik Cache for the stock will be roughly 200 to 250 MB, and will grew as you install more apps. ART will take a bit more, maybe close to 300 MB. If you are on TMoUS HD2 with NativeSD, you have nothing to worry, make the largest userdata you can. on EU HD2, free up /system and allocate space for userdata - recommended is 400+ MB in userdata.

You may want to delete the contents of Dalvik Cache before you do all this by navigating to the SD Card's EXT4 partition (NativeSD/NexusHD2-KitKat/data/dalvik-cache). After that, open the ROM's installation zip using WinRAR or 7Zip, navigate to boot/boot_NativeSD and replace the initrd.gz with the one from the download link. Flash the ROM selecting the NativeSD option - you can dirty flash the ROM's zip too, no need to do a clean install. After booting up in to the launcher, reboot to recovery and check the content of the NAND's data partition - it must contain the .dex files.

The new initrd.gz seems to work ok. I installed the rom with a fresh install, and just swapped the initrd.gz in /sdcard/NativeSD (and in /sdcard/NativeSD/NexusHD2-KitKat) with the new one, to save unzipping and re-zipping the rom.
I am getting hwa settings app has stopped messages, not sure if related.
Will see how it goes

Edit; I am getting lag on opening apps and a few other FCs, but have installed ART, so that might be the problem. Also, i haven't got a sim in the phone, and that can cause some odd issues too. I do think that it saves some battery though, only dropped 6% overnight. Was wondering whether swap-on-nand might be a good idea too, since even EU users have space for a goodly-sized swap partition.

Edit2; Set runtime back to dalvik and before rebooting i put wm6.5 on nand, so not using userdata. I also put original initrd.gz in /sdcard/NativeSD. After boot up and android setting up new dalvik-cache, hw settings app FCs have gone, so must have been related to dalvic-on-nand?

Hey guys, newbie here needs advise. Im trying to give my old and trusted hd2 new life so i installed (native sd) jellybean 3.3 about 2 months ago. Everything works great except i cant get data connection to work. Now i will try to install this rom (kitkat) and see if i have same problem. My question is- is there recommended method to do that, can i just load kitkat and start from it keeping jellybean as is or should i do clean install from scratch. Thanks a lot in advance.

That bug happens in V4.4 too. I have to double tap twice on the dialler to make it open. (I can make a call to the ppl on my contact list, only the dialler bugs)

Have you by chance adjusted the animator duration scale in the developer options? If you turn it off the dial pad will misbehave as you describe, set it at 0.5 minimum and it should be ok.

1/ I ' m running Rom 4.6 by using Data onEXT card sd class 2 16GB , run app : HAY DAY , clash of clans , facebook ... is slow and responding is close ?

This card can install Rom Native SD best performance ? IF this card run Native SD ok , i will upgrade it .
