Thanks NY, I was looking at the post and on different card all class 10 are HC-I only Sandisk mentioned it as U-HC-I,

So can I use Tohsiba's, shown in the picture?

Thanks,

If you can return the card after trying I'd say see if it works. If you cannot return the card I'd suggest something below the Ultra.

I never used a Class 10 in my HD2 but I have heard of people using them successfully. As I said in my previous post the absolute safest thing to do is try the card as long as you don't have to keep it if you have that choice (in other words, if it can be returned). A Class 10 is certainly safer to try than a UHS in my opinion. :)

Cheers!

Wassup up guys....just got back from vacation ,had a wonderful time swimming and drinking. :D

So .. here's a little follow up on the matter after some test which i have been doing on the version 4.6. Like mentioned before in my previous text , i have been having some issues with the Rom performance ,bear in mind that everything I tried mentioned was tested over and over with the final results am about to give. However the fact that we are all using a old windows phone (going about the fact that we all use the HTC HD2) and can have some problems.

First of all:
I have mentioned in one of my post that I have been having problems with the screen...mainly flickering and vibrating keyboard so I decided to do the following to stop this. In Developer Option i have done the following changes to make the screen have a better performance:
0.0x Window Animation Scale
0.0x Transition animation scale
0.0x Animation Duration Scale

With these settings the animation in opening and closing the screen stops and loads it faster when opening or closing maps or folders from the desktop. Desktop transition from page to page goes quicker when the wallpaper is not scrolling.
The flickering has now stopped and the only app that stills shows traces of it is WhatsApp. I guess it has to be something in their program that triggers this but its only visible when closing down the keyboard from time to time. You guys can test this and see if am right. For all and all....my screen is faster and loads up much quicker now with these settings.

Apollo player keeps popping up on its own so decided to removed this app from the rom and placed DI-Radio ( Digitally Imported ..a great app )in its place. Surprisingly at every boot....Apollo activates and looks for music and all the media you have on the phone...running your battery life a bit quicker. Removing Apollo gives me an edge now to open Gmail and Whatsapp at the same time.

GPS cant get a fixed location: I have tried many apps believing it may be one of them not working with therom. However after looking into the gps.conf file I've noticed that lots of info is not placed even with AGPS Injector. The Injector app only works as in getting you EXTRA.GPS data i believe cause it never changed the file contents. So I did the following changes...bare with me...I had a lock with in 5 minutes with these setting on the rom's GPS Location " High Accuracy" settings which gives you device GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G mobile network to get a fix.

For those who can use this I hope i was of some help....ooh and remember to change your server location as in the country you are in.

for the needy .. go here to make the change with FileManager after giving it root access in the settings from the ap:
Device/System/Etc/gps.conf ,open with FileManager and place this:

NTP_SERVER=0.nl.pool.ntp.org

Like said before...this gaved me a fix with Google Maps Navi...so if it can help you change your region and give it a try. Google Maps kinda hangs a bit...but I guess that has to do with what every you may have running on network data as well. Try to close all none needed apps that using data and try this out.

Hope it helps you guys....next beer is on me :D

For me everything is normal but I noticed that the battery discharges faster than the version 4.2.
Any solution for that?

Hi all

I have recently got a HD2 so I'm new to everything. I have a quick question in regards to 'Please create a FAT32 primary partition with 32KB cluster size, then an EXT4 primary partition with default cluster size on your SD card'

Can anyone tell me how big the FAT32 partition has to be and what it's used for? also I'm assuming that the EXT4 partition is used for storage like apps, music, photos etc?

Wassup....I've got the same problem so I have removed some extra options like screen animation and make sure am running it on EDGE 2G network. This works fine and leave me with a charge for about 12 hrs. Remember to use locations and other apps that uses data only when your certain you have a data-plan and wishes to be connected always.

Another option is to disable these in Developer Options:

Process Stats:
= gives you a clear view of whats all is running and using your battery power.

Window animation scale ,Transition animation scale 'Animator duration scale:
= Allows your screen to load faster and stops the animation that drains battery each time you use your phone.

Background process limit:
= Reduce the amount of apps running in the background ,note that some deamons cant be switched off or the phone wont work.

HWA Setting:
= Exclude all the non essential apps from the HWA list. This will allow you to run the settings only on specific programs needed.

Animated wallpapers:
= Unless you have a more powerful battery I suggest not to use this option cause it really kills your battery.

For those who are having battery problems still can do the following as me. Remove the 1023mAH battery and buy a much more powerful one. I use this one now and go 2,5 days on a full charge if am using my Whats app allot. So I guess those that doesn't have much chatting programs running should do with the above settings about the same or 3 days.

Try this link if its some use to you guys its a Goldseries 2430mAH battery

Catch you later peeps
