Install V4.5, select the option, then install V4.7. This is a workaround.

Guys, any suggestions how to fix that or at least reduce flashing?

Most applications do work in a very stable way on the version 4.7 ,however it is known that running several applications all together may use much RAM space from your device. GoogleMaps uses a great amount of RAM to access the network in order to give you the realtime view of your destination or search. Remember...Android purposely tries to keep apps loaded into RAM for better performance.

* On a Note * Many times, poor performance can be attributed to a particular app rather than the Android device itself. For frequently used apps (e.g., browsers, notebooks, music players, etc.) always go for the ones that are most lightweight and battery friendly.

A setting you can possibly try is the following ,which gives GoogleMaps a better rendering, remember not to run too much programs that will take your RAM buffer space.

First Go to :

Settings -> Apps -> Running ( here you can see your RAM space amount and whats taking up the most space )

Next ,close the apps that are not needed as system applications (Google services are started by default ,dis-activating this may cause erratic behavior on your device.

Secondly go to:
Settings -> Developer Options
Scroll down to
: Force GPU Rendering and check the square
: Disable HW Overlays and check the square

Run GoogleMaps again and choose location ,this takes a few seconds to load and should give you a perfect view of the maps.
Remember to close down all social media applications when running GoogleMaps.

Let us know if it works

I have installed this rom on hd2 but it was a bit laggy, so I flash back a wm6.5 and I would like to dual boot but it does not seem to work when I launch this rom since it stays on a green htc forever .....I have formatted the sdcard half fat32 and half ext4.

Can you relate or specify your previous installation ,version ROM and the problems you've encountered?

Some black screen when opening telephone and other apps.
telephone did not work well
bt did not connect into my car
The rest was fine but i need reliable phone so I installed back wm6.5 and i am trying to do dual boot with this same rom.
I also tried another one but stiil stuck on black screen and green htc logo.

I am going to try to format sdcard from hd2 instead of pc to see if will work

There are a few problems than arise if the ROM is not installed properly according to the instruction on the initial page.

1.)One of the most common problems is updating from a previous version that has some system bugs with a newer or update d ROM. The problems on the previous ROM are not alltogether removed and can cause the unstable " Black Screen" from time to time.

2.)Because of the RAM capacity in the HD2 it is known that having a extended use of many applications will practically run your device to its lowest limits ,with the possibility of a reboot ,screen freeze , lag or crash. NativeSD installation seems to work for some and for others it is just simply problematic ,this can also be a choice of applications which is installed on the device that causes the ROM to work erroneous.

3.) I have not checked or tried the bluetooth connectivity from this ROM as yet ,thou I can carefully mention that i have not seen it came across the forum as a problem. Perhaps ( guessing it was a bluetooth connection) carefully looking at the settings from your phone to your car settings should give a wider view or answer.

* Relating to your issues *
The reason for your black screen can be a majority of possibilities that are able to cause this. Given the fact on this matter that I have only tried Nand on Data with EXT4 installation with MAGDLR installer ,and using the described installation with a larger system partition (eq. 400MB ) i have not encountered this problem.

With all certainty....one of the biggest setbacks of Android was the GPS navigation which needs a aGPS connection compared to Win6.5 that goes directly to satellites in order to get your GPS location. So in theory this old system works GPS Navigation flawlessly compared most old ( Froyo ) Android. But having a good installation ,and placing the right settings into your ROM such as the right GPS commands and navigation application , i do believe it can work for this is something i've tried.\

Try to do the installation instructions from the initial page with a NAND configuration with Data on EXT4 ,and carefully control the problems you had prior....post your situation after the installation
