about softkeys there is a zip somewhere you can install via recovery softkey switcher or sth like that just search it. So your problem is with the button and not with the touch? It's a bit easier to replace;-) just to clarify if the touch is sometimes not working -> digitizer if the phone won't turn on sometimes -> buttons. But it's still a bigger thing also for the buttons to replace them but doable with youtube disassembly videos:-)

Edit: you will need adhesive to newly stick the digitizer+lcd assembly to the middle frame afterwards...
