The 400 MB does no harm (but you'll be able to boot) since your /data partition will be on the SD card, hence the name DataOnExt.

The 10 MB cache partition will not be used by this rom (although it must exist) which is why it us usually rather small.

i stand corrected,, after try to change the system partition to 400mb and cache to 10mb, i still doesnt want to boot to android, it keeps running cyanogenmod logo/booting for a long time (more than 20 minutes

Unfortunately that suggests some other problem which I cannot see without more info. Been some time since my HD2 days..

Did you do a clean install or update?

How did you change partition sizes?

Was the device working as DataOnExt before this update?

Perhaps someone who still has an HD2 will think of something else.

Meanwhile, the more information you can give us the more likely someone will spot something.

Have you tried resizing the cache partition to 5 MB?

Re-installing the rom works for me...

clean unstall, i used hd2 toolkit to change partition sizes, dataonext was working before i try kitkat (previous rom was JB, i do clean instal not update)

5mb doesn't work

You might have to use NativeSD.

I tried to flash V4.7 but I am continuously getting the following message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped"......any idea why is this happening?
