There is now a much smaller "sweet-spot" to touch and activate them. I find myself now having to press multiple times where I didn't before (at least it seams that way).

I'm also using tytungs ROMs because of their stability and so I totally agree with your last post. But I'm really happy with tytungs decision to decrease the size of the soft buttons.
Before I installed tytungs ROM I used a AOKP based ROM made by ZeJsters. After some days of use I realized that with ZeJsters ROM it was possible to change the size of the soft buttons within the settings app. I selected the smallest possible size (don't remember the exact size, maybe even smaller than 24pts) because of the resulting bigger screen size and in the beginning I also found it more difficult to use the smaller buttons. But after a few days of use I got accustomed to the new size.
As ZeJsters announced to stop his support for the HD2 I tried out some other ROMs and finally changed to tytungs NexusHD2-JellyBean ROM. I never regretted my decision. The only thing that I disliked was the "huge" soft button size. But now I'm absolutely satisfied. :-)

I'll follow along with great interest as you proceed with CM-10.2, but I won't or can't switch until it's been proven stable. In the meantime I hope you won't completely abandon CM-10.1.x and will update when CM-10.1.3 is released. TIA

I agree to that.

I guess I should be fair and give it more time before passing judgement. It just is annoying to me now.

I don't think that this is a matter of the Navbar height. I experienced difficulty to hit the sweet spots on Navbar even with the old bigger Navbar. I think it is little problem of our hd2 and screen sensitivity for the hd2 is using a resistive and not a capacitiv touch screen. People mostly forget this. In the old WM6.5 days there was an option to set screen sensitivity. Android lacks this feature.

Edit: The new Navbar height is absolutely perfect for me. Please keep it in future roms.

Odysseus wrote:@Tytung, I first want to thank you for all your efforts in putting together this ROM. After Reading your previous posts on this thread, it is my hope that you'll continue developing this now very stable CM-10.1.x branch even as you shift your efforts towards CM-10.2. This is especially important in light of Cyanogen's announcement in their most recent weekly blog that CM-10.1.3 will be released in the next couple of weeks.

From every thing I've read on the CM and xda forums, CM-10.2 is a rewrite compared to a simple update. Some users will have to do clean installs when making the transition, because of system settings getting overhauled, and file system reorganization. Some apps fail on it, others have glitches.

Edit: As to naming the new ROM based on CM-10.2, may I suggest that you keep "NexusHD2-JellyBean" and just augment the new CM-10.2 builds with "beta" until CM-10.2 is stabilized. For example, the first release based on this code could be called, "NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.2 V3.0-beta1". The next beta would be, "NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.2 V3.0-beta2", etc... When CM-10.2 goes gold, the first stable release would be "NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.2 V3.0". I suggest this is because you (Tytung) have become synonymous with "NexusHD2". This is your trademark (perhaps you should trademark it).

If someone types into any search engine "NexusHD2" your ROMS and forum posts come up to the top. Many others link back to here and your old ones at xda. There are numerous Youtube videos of people using or installing your ROMS. They're known all over for their stability. Keeping the naming structure consistent helps in reinforcing your well earned reputation, and as well makes things easier for those trying to find you over here. Just my 2 cents.

Ciao

I totally agree with Odysseus.
A stable system is essential for us simple users.

I experienced s lot of app updates from play store the last days with changelog entrys like "fixed issue on 4.3"

As naming for a 4.3 Rom a agree to with Odysseus, because it's really your trademark.

What I intended by coming up with the idea of naming the 4.3 rom. Was to alter the NativeSD installation path just like you did it for NexusHD2 CM10 v1.5 Rom so both roms can exist besides. It could be installed to "NexusHD2-JellyBean-430" for example. That way we "non-devs" could keep our stable systems and can support you by testing the new one. You also could keep that for a future stable release of the 4.3 rom.

Moving all apps and settings is quite simple with Titanium Backup ;)

Yesterday I installed version 2.6. Unfortunately,I did not get a working GSM network, even after many reboots, so I had to go back to version 2.5
Device: HTC HD2 (LEO512) T8585
Radio: 2.15.50.14
Nand: Original factory WM 6.5
Recovery: 4EXTRecovery
Bootloader: Original factory boot loader (I use haret to boot NativeSD android roms)
NativeSD: NexusHD2-KitKat v4.3, NexusHD2-JellyBean v 3.3, NexusHD2-ISC v 3.0b, etc.
SD card: SanDisk 32Gb class 10 UHS1 or Transcend 32Gb class 10 no UHS
SD partitions: 21Gb vfat, 8Gb ext4, 500Mb swap

Same problem.:?
System :Energy WM6.5 Rom in Nand, Bootloader haret, Recovery 4ext. NativeSD, Class10 32Gb, 4Gb ext4 partition.

Updated from 2.5 to 2.6, NativeSD, PPP Connection chosen. - - - >No Data Connection. Reseting APNs didn't work .Switching Airplane Mode and 2G 3G didn't work neither. Switching Data on/off didn't work too.

Every other feature worked well.

Now I'm back on 2.5 (restored Backup with Touchrecovery) Data works again.

Will try a clean Install the next days too see if problem still exists.

Edit: Clean install of V2.6 solved my Data connection problems.

Disabling wifi and activating data afterwards might solve it too before doing a clean install.

I should also have said that I use NativeSD, 4ExtRecovery, PPP, European version. Plenty of space both in Vfat and in ext4. When I switched WiFi on it seemed like the 3g data connection was working for a while, but then it disappeared again.

Same for me. GSM network doesn't work.

Addition: A few minutes ago I deactivated WiFi then I rebooted the device. After the reboot GSM is working. Even after toggling WiFi on and off, GSM network is still working.
I'm in a hurry at the moment and haven't the time for further testing now. But I will do some tests this evening.

System: ZeJsters AOKP Rom in Nand, NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1.2 V2.6 as NativeSD install

Device: HTC HD2 (LEO512)
HSPL: 2.08.HSPL
Radio: Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14
Bootloader: MAGLDR v1.13
DataConnection: RMNET
