I thought it was you but it could be also another dev at xda. I had such a problem with another rom using one of your old kernels in the past. And i solved it (due to this hint) by switching rmnet to ppp.
Since I'm currently not on magldr with my devices I have to choose ppp anyways.

Im still using the V2.6 version of this ROM, and encountered a bug. With the new Youtube update, everything loads, except the videos. Always got an error message.

So i went to google play, marked the options to see reviews only from this Device and about the last update, and i seen an other guy is having the same problem.

Anyone can confirm this? (New YT looks awesome, you can minimalize your video and search for the next one meanwhile).

Hi agbommarito,

Now I'm back on V2.6 with working Data connection, u installed the softkeys mods and encountered an issue (see Screenshot below)

Image

After the installation of the mod the Navbar seems to be back on 30 or more dpi in portrait mode and I think in landscape also (it's hard to guess without a comparison before installing Softkeys in landscape)

Can you solve this issue? Would be great. Thanks for your efforts.

Maybe I'll try the wifi workaround before doing a clean install.

I never downgraded to 2.5. I just turned off WiFi before I rebooted the device. Now GSM data ist working without problems, even after switching WiFi off and on again end even after several reboots with active WiFi.

I don't see the increase in height on my device. What is the icon on the far right of the navigation bar? Maybe that is forcing the height change when it is active.

That's "recent apps". But it doesn't matter which buttons are put in the bar. Even with the power button or other button combinations with 3, 4, 5 or 6 buttons the bar is higher than 24 on my device. Am I the only one with this issue?

EDIT: if you mean the Tapatalk sign in the. Lower right corner of the Screenshot. This on is only put in by Tapatalk as watermark by uploading the pictures.

I'm talking about the icon to the right of recent apps. On the screenshot I see, it is a colored icon about twice as high as the recent apps icon.

Look my previous post. Just Edited

EDIT:

Wow. This is really strange :?

I made a mark with a post-it on my screen to see if the height of the navigation bar changes. And indeed it does. Whenever I start an app or am in app drawer or settings the Navbar in portrait mode is 24 high. Only in the home screens of the launcher the Navbar goes to 30 height.

In landscape the Navbar height is ever 30 high unindependent if I'm in an app, drawer settings or home screens. Really, really strange :?:?

Please don't update YouTube.
I'm wondering if the new feature (i.e., minimize your video and search for the next one) is the raw cause that makes video to stop playing.
Maybe someone can check whether or not there's the same issue in other legacy devices, e.g. Desire, Nexus One, etc.
Paste your logcat to GitHub Gist or any similar websites, and link it in your post if you need any help. (Don't forget to tell us your HD2 setup/configuration.)
