I just upgraded Youtube to 5.1.10 from Google Play, glance over only, but player don't work.

How did you do that? For me it doesn't work neither in HQ nor in not HQ (even wiped app data & cache) the videos load but when you click play it just returns to the state if not yet started...

A difficult question. Although CM attempts to calm concerns of privacy (they say they will not sell the data, etc.) it is a similar concern to placing our info in Google's hands.

I suppose each user must decide if they feel comfortable with big brother - any big brother - watching everything they do. Ideally, from a developer's point of view this should be an optional feature to be decided upon by the person installing the ROM.

I think it's useful. I'm not sure why they say they have no interest in selling users' data. This app shouldn't collect users' data anyway. If it does, I recommend removing it immediately. Maybe they just want to make it clear.

I agree with NYLimited, the link says it is optional so it should be an aroma option I think. And while CM may not want to sell data now, future shareholders may see it differently.

I think we can try it. Maybe a pool is great idea;) (or poll I dont know )

They shouldn't collect data in the first place. I don't know what they mean by "data". If they mean the user's phone number only, it's totally understandable.
