ART did not work for me with NativeSD even though I have about 6 Gb free on NativeSD and 5 Gb free on sd side. Nand has Wp7.

After completing app upgrade upon enabling ART its doing endless loop of cyan boot screen after automatic reboot. Has anyone managed to get aRT to work with this rom? Thx

As you change ROM, NAND or DataOnEXT, we must always do Task29 ...??

Thank you.

Task29 is not required for Android.
In fact, I never do Task29 on my HD2.

You can switch number of rows and columns in launcher settings. Also, I see you have Battery Circle on your phone. It's useless now, check Settings -> Interface -> Statusbar -> Battery indicator style -> Circle + Show battery percentage

1) Screen doesn't want to turn on after incoming call. Needs to press hardware buttons several times to wake him
2) LowSoundFixer crashes on incoming call.
3) Not sure if this issue is related to LowSoundFixer, but after call with LowSoudFixer FC, I plugged in headphones with turned off screen - music started to play, but through speaker intead of headphones

I'm still encountering the black screen issue...I can't search the thread because "black screen" are two common words. When in e3plorer trying to log into box.net it tells me I need to reauthorize but when the popout screen appears it's totally black....some web pages loaded in lightning browser do same thing...it also occured in the included browser.....I'm trying to get chrome downloaded to test but I'd much rather use lightning which is lighter on resources.

The low sound fixer kept force closing on me at random intervals for no apparent reason so I uninstalled it. Built in usb tethering still appears to be an issue....if you have a tethering tile in the quick tiles it will not enable/disable tether...if you go into settings you will have to enable tether 3 times to get it to actually work and it usually appears to only work once...then you have to unplug the usb cable and replugin to make it work 1 more time. The wired-tether 1.4 apk seems to work ok but you can't automate enabling tether via tasker with it because it provides no way to run it with tether enabled by default. I'd kill for just one simple setting in the apk to checkbox whether to enable tether on startup or not. If you have workarounds I'd love to hear them.

Installing adblock and attempting to run it results in an error which states "Not enough space on the partition! Try changing the target hosts file in preferences to /data/data/hosts.

Don't get me wrong...I love the new rom and how it's given the hd2 new life....I just think it's better to report the quirks so they can be stomped so don't think I'm trash talking. ;)

V4.2 : short Feedback

Postby benlm72 » Fri Jan 03, 2014 12:30 pm

Hi tytung,

Here is a short feedback about v4.2 :
- camcorder fixed, as mentionned
- LowSoundFixer crashes, for me on gsm outgoing call.
- SuperSU runs fine
- EasyBatterySaver doesn't always update battery percent in the notification window (but perhaps is it more an incompatibility between EasyBatterySaver and KK). And battery stats are not accessible from this app, although they are from android menu
- Battery consumption seems a little better than previous releases
- Antutu bench mark fail on GPU test
- Quadrant benchmark is always very bad on cpu test (almost two times less than JB 4.3), although my phone seems to run smoother than before.
- Wifi works fine
- When long pressing on the physical home button (I don't use sofkey buttons), it opens a window to choose app to launch. If I choose "Recherche Google", it fails. The app should probably be "Google" in the french release of the rom. Workaround : enabling userdefined actions on buttons and associating menu (windows) button with Google.
- no more way to customise sms vibration. Workaround : installing Good Vibrations and disabling vibrations in sms stock app
- Viber is always not working correctly for me, although skype or line are OK.
EDIT :
- some menus in settings (for example Buttons) are in english in the french version of the rom

Thank's for the job !

Hi,

I'm testing your incredible work too!

So far only one "big" problem... camera lost autofocus, am I the only one?

Thanks?

I also have WP7 on NAND and 1GB free on NativeSD and 2GB free on SDcard. Switch to ART successful despite of so long switching time (it took about 30~40 minutes at upgarding screen).
Now the phone is running smoothly.
