Tytung,

will you please tell us if there is a solution?
the problems is as I wrote in my previous messages; no ringtone is heard when there is an incoming call, no touc or key tone, but I hear a tone when I end a call, also hear the voice shows the line is connected and ringing when I make a call.

I am new here and i really appreciate the work done on here. Thanks to tytung first of all...

I want to install this latest ROM on my HD2, but is it really stable and fast? Or should i install the previous versions? Like JB or other?

What do you think?

Also anyone can help me which tools should i use to install this ROM?
How can i format and partition SD card as tytung instructed? I mean formatting with 32kb cluster then ext4. How can i do that?

Can you please help me a little?

Thanks
Regards

Tytung's ROMS are always smooth, fast and reliable, but after that it depends also in which SD card you use and how many apps/widgets you install on your phone, because you always have to remember you have just 1-core CPU and 512MB of RAM. My personal feeling is that these ROMS are fast enough to be enjoyed, especially if you install them with NativeSD on a Class 6 or Class 10 SD card.
The first times I partitioned my card I followed this guide, and I found it very simple and straightforward; hope it helps you too :)
When you partition your card, if you want to create also a swap partition you have to activate it after the ROM installation. The simplest way, is to install Android Terminal Emulator and follow these instructions for "Activating through Terminal Emulator"

Thank you for your detailed and kind reply.
I installed the ROM using Nand+Dataext. Installing on a class6 or class10 card with nativesd will be faster?

Also i overclocked the CPU to 1152Mhz and lowest frequency to 576Mhz. Any other performance tweaks you can recommend?

Thanks

You can try it yourself. With DataOnEXT, you have 2 storage parts. Some users say that DataOnEXT is the fastest method. By the way, you can set the lowest frequency to 384 MHz. I set it to 128 MHz and don't have any problems.

You can use SD Speed Increase. Anyway, I use it but don't notice any performance improvement. You can also use HWA Settings and disable HWUI for almost apps except games and apps that require HWA.

I've never tried overclocking, what settings/profiles of setCPU would you guys recommend for Tytung's ROMs?

I have not tried this myself but you *may* be able to change button behavior with a button remapping app from the Play store.

Sent from my Nexus 4

Thanks NYLimited,

I tried to find an application as written before but i didn't find anything. But it isn't what you are thinking, is a little more, what i mean is that after we use the call button, we can use it again to making the call without use the screen.

Many thanks again

Thank you Tytung !

So far so good .

I just noticed 2 problem :

1- I got no sound when receiving voice calls
2- Some settings wont be saved when rebooting the phone , for example wifi-regen code , or some apps i put on desktop simply disappear after restart .

Apart from that , its nice :)

Regards ,

Dino
P.S. : Solved the ring tone issue by putting the ring tones in SD card ( I am using NativeSD Method ) , Still the second problem remains , Feels like a problem regarding dealing with phone storage and SD-card

I connected my bluetooth device and when I disconnected, I noticed that ringtone is heard but lover than usual. I restarted the phone, again no ringtone. with bluetooth connect-disconnect I had the ringtone back working but low.
Now trying to learn how to get log so that I can post tytung

Can you make a call? I think this is a known issue. No additional log needed.

As soren said, it's a known issue that Bluetooth device may cause the low sound.
The workaround is to make a call.
Does anyone know a more convenient workaround?
Paste your logcat to GitHub Gist or any similar websites, and link it in your post if you need any help. (Don't forget to tell us your HD2 setup/configuration.)
