Well, I'm very busy this month.
I will update KK ROM in May.

1. Setting it up with WPA2 and WPA encryption doesn't work -- the available connection shows 'unsecured' in my laptop, and I can't connect to it.
2. Setting it up with no encryption, I can connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot but then it won't use my 3G (HSDPA) connection. I can browse the internet on my phone just fine, but the laptop won't be able to connect to any site.
