I dont know about everyone else, but my inbuilt screenshot function works just fine, like on 4.4 (from which i upgraded) I have v4.6 nativesd.
In v4.4 (and 4.5 i think) i added the screenshot function to the menu that pops up when i long press the power button and it is still there.

The option isn't available, so you can't use it if you do a clean installation.

Whats up guys,

A little follow up here..

After some testing for some days I've encountered the following problems with the version 4.6.

1) First instal: Chosen for custom and installed all the extra's
Used: data@EXT4 with EU installation

1) Dial pad for phone calling gives clogged view of numbers when typing to dial. The numbers heaps up and shows double as the 10th digit is typed in for calling.

2) For calling it is very sluggish and slow, call takes a minimum of almost 30sec before its activated and called. The recipient called or number called then shows up slowly.

3) Lowered the Animation settings to 0.5 ,this has helped a bit in the vibrating and flickering of the screen when lowering the text keyboard but still has its problems from time to time.

4) Overall performance such as opening files and starting up apps works so slow that it makes the phone look like its running on a 512mb processor.

Rom seems to be a bit unstable guys so am going to fallback on version 4.5 for the moment. So I did the following wich did helped allot with the slow animation.

-Disabled all HWA settings on apps
-Disabled the following options as well : Window animation scale to 0.0x
Transition animation scale to 0.0x
Animator duration scale to 0.0x
After this re-installation i took the updated rom 4.6 and installed it over the 4.5 ,much of the functions on the 4.6 are not visible as screenshot in the power menu. But all flickering has gone. Going to keep on ding some test... talk later guys

Hear soon from you all ...have a super weekend. Its beer time

Looks like you have a faulty phone as none of your issues above effects my phone.
1, Dial pad works fine just checked
2, Calling almost instant
3, No flickering seen ever
4, Apps have always been a little slow to open no matter what or who's version of Android I have installed but we are running the latest Android on a windows phone from 4 years ago

Just installed the rom, works fine.
However, wifi finds sources, verifies, recieves ip-addresses, but never really connects to any network.

Is that a known issue, is there a fix?
Thanx.

I believe its the launcher which i have running on the phone. Am using Nova Launcher with a UCCW Skin which looks much nicer than the HOLO ,but probably would be the reason for the flickering if you havent tested it with something other that the standard HOLO launcher in the rom.

The next thing I've done which may me wrong is the system partion , now the new rom uses 310mb and the last size I had made for the 4.4 and 4.5 was 350mb. Perhaps making this size to 400mb would make a little more better performance as a better buffer.

As for the phone it is practically new in the sense that it was bought from a store which had a old warehouse stock 2 years ago and was clearing out. My best guess is for me to try the rom with its original Tribuchet and HOLO installation and run from there to see what happens.

Thanks for looking into it man ...apreciate it, gives me a better insight of what am doing

I used Apex on my HD2 and never experienced screen issues. Although I have no experience with Nova it is a pretty popular launcher and should work fine.

If you're using DataOnExt - your /data partition is on the SD card - all NAND memory past system is unused and wasted. By all means, change your system partition size to 400. It can't hurt.

Install the top without any apps and see if the screen issues are there.

If not, install Nova and see what happens.

Since the hd2 has limited memory you may need to use more aggressive MIN FREE settings.

While the old hd2 will never perform like a G2 it should still give you a usable experience.

WiFi works well for me.
You might need to check your WiFi router or anything else.

It happens with every network. It looks like the networks (even with full connection) are avoided as a 'poor connection', even though that option is turned off. My other phone picks them up no problem. I tried reflashing, still the same problem.

[Edit]
I should add that after a very long time of verifying, I get the message "poor connection avoided". I get it when the option "avoid poor connections" is turned on in 'settings', but also when it's turned off, as though it's always on, no matter the settings. Is there another place to disable this?
