Hi Tytung,
thank you for your fantastic ROM, I use them for almost a year. :D

I have a question. Android 4.3 supports TRIM. Does it also work with our HD2's? Is it possible at all with the old kernel?

Thanks

After I did a fresh install my antenna was getting blue and the H sign was there, but there was no connection. It turns out the apn port did not get updated by the google sync. The apn was there, but without the port number.
Tytung, your Rom is awesome. Thanks.

I don't understand your question completely.
Mobile data (3G/HSDPA) works fine for me.
Please check your APN.

Not sure. You may need to find out the requirement of TRIM.

I don't know what CM included in this version, however, before this version I have used Lagfix on the HD2. Lagfix essentially runs fstrim which is, I think, what you are asking about.

Cheers!

Same here (both problems)!

Everything else seems nice and smooth. Thanks!

I meant that I fixed my 3G/H issue by entering the apn port, because it didn't get updated from google sync. Just letting other people know, because there were a couple of people with data issue.

I searched everywhere I could at Cyanogenmod and found that TRIM does appear to be a feature that will be supported in CM-10.2, now whether it's enabled in the nightly Tytung based this ROM on is a different story. It also needs kernel support. According to this Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trim_%28computing%29 it was first introduced in kernel 2.6.28, but with only limited support for certain functions on a limited number of NAND devices. Additional features and support were added in 2.6.33. So unless our 2.6.32 kernels have the support for our NANDS and SD cards, and it was enabled by Tytung, it may not work. Even if it was enabled we may not have the proper support due to it only being partially implemented upstream in 2.6.32. I hope this helps.

It doesn't appear that our devices support TRIM. I downloaded and installed LagFix (free) and got the following error msg when I attempted to use: "TRIM is not supported on the following partitions: /system, /data, /cache This is either a hardware or kernel issue that can not be worked around."

I hope this helps

Just tested A2DP functionality with Jabra Freeway. It's working fine for me.

I was under the (mis)understanding that TRIM was for SSD drives, and it is OS-provided. How is TRIM applicable to our HD2s in the manner being discussed, or is this TRIM different from what I am referring to?
