If you are running a NativeSD install and can access an SD card on a PC, it should be fairly easy to do. It will put an icon on your desktop. Insert the SD card from your phone to the PC and double-click the driver icon, then mount the Linux file system. You can then rename the SD card folder using Windows Explorer. Dismount the Linux file system. Now would be a good time to copy the V3.1 ZIP file to the SD card's FAT partition if you haven't done so already. Then eject the card. Put it back it your phone and power the phone on into recovery. Then install V3.1. Note that once the Linux folder is renamed you won't be able to boot your phone into the V3.0 ROM. The NativeSD stuff in the FAT directory won't match the Linux partition on your card. That's why you should install V3.1 immediately after the rename.

Finally, I haven't tried this. So as always, make sure you have a good backup before you proceed, including a backup of the NativeSD folder from the SD card FAT partition.

Where do you want to post your carbon ROM?
If it will be post on xda, a link to my forum violates their rule. And no link to my forum violates my rule. (my new rule due to the xda event)
