Is it possible to alter the default setup params when time permits?

My avatar is closer to 50 K (not under 6).
My signature is a tad under 500 bytes, not under 255.

I thought I saw a note someplace about requirements for PM but I somehow lost it, sorry.
How many posts are required before PM can be used?

I have removed the PM limit for newly registered users.
Let me check how to alter the default setup params.

That might expose you to a lot of "hit and run" ad, porn, etc. posters.
You may not want to totally remove it...

You're right. Change back.
Some limits are still needed.

BTW, the avatar image was changed to the following setting:

I couldn't find british summertime in the pulldown menu, so I am now in central europe, for the time being (utc+1)
Also do you think you should have Off Topic thread, so that ppl can post stuff like "hello" without spamming elsewhere?
Sorry not very constructive first post, will aim to do better in the future.

Edit; I found the summertime option just below the time zone so am now back in UK time.

tytung, would you permit other developers to use/kang your ROMs/code etc. as long as the modified ROMs are posted on this site only?
I know there have been problems in the past with ppl using your ROMs as a base for ports etc., and thought this might be a way for you to have a certain amount of control over quality/content, while expanding the library of ROMs for our HD2. You could also upload them to your preferred DL sites.

It'll be acceptable as long as other developers ask me first and then clearly and honestly state the differences between my ROMs and their modified ones (maybe use a list).
In the past, someone removed my copyright statements from the installer scripts and added himself as the copyright holder, so I'm very unhappy.

In fact, I have a sharing plan of the advertising income in the future as follows.
Google allows us to put 3 advertising banners in a webpage, so I would like to share 1 or 2 banners to this site's contributors if they want.
The remaining advertising banners (2 or 1) are reserved for me to pay the cost of the web hosting.

The rough idea is that the approved topic/thread creators can put their own Google AdSense code.
Then their advertising banners will appear within the topic/thread (there's a banner in the #2 post location currently) in 50 50 chance or something.
I currently use Advertisement Management 1.0.10 mod for phpBB.
I'm not sure if I can utilize it or not.

Tytung congratulations on the new forum. As administrator of another phpBB forum (not related to Android) I would strongly recommend that you implement some simple anti-spam measures as soon as possible:
1) Assign people to Newly Registered Users group so a moderator has to approve their first post.
2) Implement a simple security question for registration to stop boys for example "Who manufactures the HD2?"
3) When you have time, enable Tapatalk plugin
