At this time I had no luck to fully reproduce this bug. Mobile data and Google play works fine, but one thing is not working: Synchronization. Email app (Google app works fine) can't open connection and I can't sync any accounts: neither skype acc nor google\corporate. When I press 'Sync now' button - nothing happens. Also signal status icon doesn't change its color to blue. It stays gray.

If the signal status icon (or WiFi icon) is changed to blue, it means that your phone is connected to the Google service.
If it's not blue, it has two meanings as follows.
1) Your phone loses the network connectivity.
2) Your phone has the network connectivity, but just cannot connect to the Google service.

Since the domain name can be translated into IP, it should be the second case.

I've been able to access the new forum via Tapatalk 4 Beta. I entered the URL for the forum (http://androidforum.tytung.com) into the Tapatalk search box and it found "NexusHD2 Android Forums".

I tried to run several apps that require internet connection.
Google maps and Youtube applications work fine.
Skype and TeamViewer show an error with Connection error message.

Btw, when I turn on WiFi tethering for the first time after reboot it turns on for a couple of seconds and turns off. If to turn it on again - tether starts properly. Is this behavoir normal or not?

UPDATE:

This issue appears after the first turning on of wi-fi tether (when it turns off by itself after some seconds of work).

Some interesting news about tethering:

I've reproduced steps to break mobile network. Then I've installed wifi tether 3.3-beta2. I tried to start tethering, but app threw some errors (you can find screenshots of app log in attachments). Then I turned mobile data off and then back to ON - icon became blue and apps started to work properly. But after that I couldn't start native wi-fi tether: it automatically turned off after a few seconds of work.

Hope my information can help to figure out the source of this bug.

You are not the only one having data drop issue, for me, toggling airplane mode or turning data off and on couple of times will produce the same behavior. Even launching google play app after clearing data in settings produce permanent data drop issue.

Like you, the only way to get data back is by reboot. Of-course, data also drop by itself once a while and I have to reboot to get data back. I also noticed that this does not affect all HD2 phones.

I am not sure if my problem is ROM related, it can be a hardware issue as well, but I don't really remember having it with 4.1.2 NexusHD2 version.

After I press power button and back button together (they are too near to each other xD) I cannot power the screen, the buttons get lightened but the screen temains off. I have seen some topics discussing htc hd2 button tap, that it often gets broken... but.

I have a European HTC HD2 with softkeys off and exit app by long back tap on.

Does anybody have the same problem?

I've done some investigating and have come up with a fix for the landscape softkeys being too tall. Before the change, the softkeys looked like this:



After the change, the softkeys look like this:



I've integrated the landscape softkey mod with the power button mod that I previously did. When combined together, the softkeys look like this:

Hello, this has nothing to do with this ROM, but i have a problem. My flash light is not working anymore. I do not know why.
I have recorded video clip yesterday, around 15 minutes, is it possible that I burned the flashlight?

good! just a question: did you based the mod on the femwork-res.apk with bluetooth tethering fixed?
