i have a problem. My hd2 touch screen is irresponsive when i wake my device by POWER button.. i tried to restart again bt nothing works... i use other then power button to wake my device and the touch screen works fine... my current KERNAL is 2.6.32 tytungJB

It happened when moving from v1.5 to v2.7. Firmware v3/3 did not give change.

my problem is that when i wake up my device with buttons other than power button it works fine but when i wake it up with power button the touch screen becomes irresponsive cant do anything with it.. Any sOLUTIONs??

I would guess you got the power button-digitizer-problem. Just use the volume keys to power on your device.

thnx man i used the back key.... bt is there any solution because i some time accidently use power button..

I use button remapper to deactivate all the hardware keys but the volume rocker. So it is nearly impossible to power on the device accidentally in your pocket. But remember to activate the option to power on with the volume rocker before you deactivate all bottom hardware keys.

Does that solve the issue? This is a hardware issue. What if he presses the power button?

you're right, it's not a solution for the hardware problem (if it's the case) but it's a kind of workaround to change his behavior to get used to not to press the power button. And if he does, there will be no function. This way his digitizer will probably last a little bit longer. So it is a kind of (dirty) solution, I guess.

Changing the digitizer would be the hardware solution if it is well done and you think it's still worth the money.
