My thoughts exactly. Like most HD2s (unless it's one of the "new" ones that have mysteriously been recently showing up on ebay and Amazon) at this point he probably has numerous bad blocks on his nand. The ones in his system partition are reducing the actual amount of space available for installation. Increasing it (the system partition size) will compensate and allow it to properly install. Furthermore, creating a 350MB or even a 400MB system partition gives him the added benefit of giving him plenty of room to try out any HD2 ROM currently available without having to repartition again later.

Hi,

first: thx for this ROM, and the great work from tytung.

Unfortunately, I have a problem with videos. Noticed it is for me with the youtube-App. I just can not play videos. Also the possibility of using the browser fails me (ww.m.youtube.com). :?
How can I solve this problem? Hope I'm not alone, because this rom is otherwise super.
It would breathe new life into my HD2. :)

Thx.

Please previous Post. I have read the posts too late. My mistake - please forgive me

Ok, i understand, there are troubles with youtube.
But I am still not entirely clear how I can work around the problem.

Shall i reinstall the ROM, or ist there an older youtube-app to download?

Or did I see any other ?

Update: i found the older version and installed it and now it´s ok. I hope there will be soon a solution.

If someone needs youtoub_4.5.17 you get it here (incl. Virustotallog)

Tytung, thanks for this great ROM as Usual :)

and thanks for those who offer help to others.

I've Installed NexusHD2 Jellybean 3.1
EU version, Clk, DataOnEXT 16GB kingston Class 4, 13GB fat32, 2GB ext4.

1- I sometimes face some lags, so I Installed Watchdog lite to see if there are some misbehaving applications, please tell me if there is a better app.
anyway there are two processes who take much CPU from time to time.

Android Media process, takes up to 92% of the CPU after a restart, it stays like this for a couple of minutes.
akmd, from time to time takes 55%.

2- The new/Updated dialer is missing the feature edit before dial.
when you search using T9, and click on a result, it dials the number directly, I have several USSD numbers saved which I edit before calling.
also the results found by t9 are not expandable like before, only showing 3 results.

3- The camera sometimes shows a corrupted picture in preview, but the shot picture is alright
Sometimes the flash does not work, not sure why.

4- this happened twice, I opened the flashlight, my little toddler loves it :D, after about a minute or less, it turns off, and I find the battery very hot.
this didn't use to happen before, and I didn't try it again.

Thanks

Hi.
I'm currently using WinMo65 and GB3.3a on NativeSD. Now I want to jump to JB3.1 but mobile
data transmission does not work for me. What should I choose during installation, rmnet or ppp?

It depends on which boot-loader you're using. Only MAGLDR supports rmnet, all others require PPP.

I hope this helps.

Dear Tytung
Thank you very much for your hard work and improvement of JB 4.3 on HD2.
But just try to set your language to Arabic then reboot your phone and see what will happen!
Simply it will jam, and it will continuously give you an error message about process stop and user interface stop.
once you restore the default language (English) it get well again!
Note: Without reboot nothing gets wrong!
Thank you.
