It's a known issue when HD2 connects to Bluetooth.
Please visit [APP][JB][4.1.2, 4.2.2 or 4.3] LowSoundFixer V1.0.7 for more info.

No idea. I have YouTube after upgrading from v3.1 to v3.2.
The problem is on your side. I didn't know what you did before you upgraded to v3.2.
Please provide logcat.

W/Zygote ( 84): Class not found for preloading: android.media.AmrInputStream
My logcat: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwINna6 ... sp=sharing

The problem is the date of the source code and how much the Slimroms changed the framework, not just 4.3 or 4.3.1.
Slimroms' libmedia_jni.so is trying to load symbol "_ZNK7android11AudioRecord9frameSizeEv" in libstagefright.so but cannot find it.
So try to replace libmedia_jni.so in Slimroms ROM with the same file from my NexusHD2 ROM.
You should use the Sep. 7 version of Slimroms ROM to avoid such dlopen failure.

Did you see the same issue on v3.1?
If so, I may know what's wrong.

  1. Add WiFi bcm4329 firmware (fw_bcm4329.bin and fw_bcm4329_apsta.bin) into /system/vendor/firmware/
  2. Replace /system/bin/wpa_supplicant
  3. Replace /system/lib/libhardware_legacy.so.
  4. Make sure init.htcleo.rc in the initrd.gz includes the following WiFi config.
    Code: Select all
    service wpa_supplicant /system/bin/wpa_supplicant \
        -Dwext -iwlan0 -c/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

soren wrote:Is the camera more stable? Is it still flickering?

For me, the flickering behavior is exactly the same as 3.1: there's almost no flickering in the camera app, itself, but menus and dialogs in Gallery almost always flicker when you switch to it from the camera app. For example, after taking a photo, swiping to view it, then pressing the menu button, the menu flickers between normal and distorted, and if I press the Delete button at the top, the confirmation dialog box is distorted half of the time, too. I've simply memorized where Delete and OK are, and don't really use the rest of the menu options, so it's not a big deal to me, but it might be frustrating to others. If you launch Gallery on its own, the menus and dialogs display just fine, so it happens only when you access it from the camera app.

As for stability, it seems to crash less often, if that's what you're referring to. I'm still having problems when I record videos for long stretches (if it doesn't just stop recording on its own, it'll crash when I try to stop it), but I'm not sure if that's a software issue or a hardware one (ex. flakey SD card or phone getting too hot).

I'm still having problems when I record videos for long stretches (it'll a) just stop recording, b) look like it's still recording, but the saved video will be only a few minutes long, or c) the app will just crash when I stop recording), but I think that that may have more to do with either my SD card starting to go bad or the phone getting so hot, probably not the software's fault.

I can confirm this. On 3.1 I had this in maps, too.
