Don't know if it works but it cannot likely do any harm so it should be safe to try. If you try it we'd like to hear about your results and the symptoms you were trying to fix.

For no missunderstanding:

this app is for ppl with low sound in the speaker or is it for ppl having issues with others' hearing them with low sound during a phone conversation ?

Or is it for both sound issues ?

My friend recently updated from 2.3 to ICS and his friends complain that they barely hear him during a phone conversation.
I dont remember his phone model but its an HTC though (gonna tell u the results after he installs this app).

Should my friend make a backup so he can return to the state before flashing this if it messes up his system ?

It is intended to help with low sound from the speaker, such as ringtones and notifications.

Re: [APP][JB][4.1.2, 4.2.2 or 4.3] LowSoundFixer V1.0.7

Hi, all.

I bought a bluetooth headset recently (listening to audiobooks while driving), and, unfortunately, have got the same issue too :( and LowSoundFixer does not help. :(
My workaround for now is automatically dialing myself on bluetooth disconnect, using Tasker.
The Fixer stays frozen for now..

Is there any other action, that resets the volumes, besides making a phone call?
Tytung (May God bless You :) ), do You have any ideas why does this happen?

Regards,

-d.

What do you mean "The Fixer stays frozen for now"?
LowSoundFixer doesn't fix the low sound bug after bluetooth disconnect, but it doesn't throw any error either.
Paste your logcat to GitHub Gist or any similar websites, and link it in your post if you need any help. (Don't forget to tell us your HD2 setup/configuration.)

I mean - it is disabled until better days, because i luckily do not have this problem on other occasions.
Yes, it does not throw any error, but i do not need redundant things on my computers ;)

EU HD2, Nexus HD2 v.3.3, always upgraded, no clean install since emm.. i do not remember what version :)

OK. I see.
Since you have Tasker (a paid app), you don't need LowSoundFixer.
I think that you might be able to setup different behaviors via Tasker when some events happens.
Paste your logcat to GitHub Gist or any similar websites, and link it in your post if you need any help. (Don't forget to tell us your HD2 setup/configuration.)

Does ICS 4.0.4 also suffer from the low sound bug?
