I've tried to install this zip, but nothing changed in my rom : always superuser, no SuperSU. Perhaps the following explains this fail :
- rom installation mode : NativeSD
- patch 43 of tytung to install the rom as NexusHD2 JellyBean43.
If that is the explanation, do you know if there's a workaround ?
Thank's in advance,
benlm72

Hi tytung,
I don't manage to replace superuser with superSU in my nativesd install after rom is installed. Is there a way to replace superuser with superSU directly in your 3.2 zip before installing ?

OHDev wrote:Tytung, thanks for this great ROM as Usual :)

and thanks for those who offer help to others.

I've Installed NexusHD2 Jellybean 3.1
EU version, Clk, DataOnEXT 16GB kingston Class 4, 13GB fat32, 2GB ext4.

1- I sometimes face some lags, so I Installed Watchdog lite to see if there are some misbehaving applications, please tell me if there is a better app.
anyway there are two processes who take much CPU from time to time.

Android Media process, takes up to 92% of the CPU after a restart, it stays like this for a couple of minutes.
akmd, from time to time takes 55%.

2- The new/Updated dialer is missing the feature edit before dial.
when you search using T9, and click on a result, it dials the number directly, I have several USSD numbers saved which I edit before calling.
also the results found by t9 are not expandable like before, only showing 3 results.

3- The camera sometimes shows a corrupted picture in preview, but the shot picture is alright
Sometimes the flash does not work, not sure why.

4- this happened twice, I opened the flashlight, my little toddler loves it :D, after about a minute or less, it turns off, and I find the battery very hot.
this didn't use to happen before, and I didn't try it again.

Thanks
Edit: typos.

1. Wakelock Detector 1.5.5
Android Media process will scan your SD card at boot. I guess you may have a lot of files in the SD card. Just wait for the process to finish its job. Or try another empty SD card to identify the issue first.
akmd is the process to control your g-sensor. G-sensor is for tilting, rotating, etc. Did you install any app related to G-sensor?

2. T9 Dialer is a new feature on stock Android 4.3. I'm not sure if the CM team will change it later on CM 10.2 or not. Nothing I will do.

3. Quit the camera app and run it again. Or install another app from Google Play.

4. If you turn on the flashlight too long, you will get high battery drain (that explains the hot battery) and the led may be damaged.

Thank you very much for your hard work and improvement of JB 4.3 on HD2.
But just try to set your language to Arabic then reboot your phone and see what will happen!
Simply it will jam, and it will continuously give you an error message about process stop and user interface stop.
once you restore the default language (English) it get well again!
Note: Without reboot nothing gets wrong!
Thank you.

It sounds like a CM bug. You may need to wait for the next version or the CM stable release.

Remove /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1.apk to remove Google Now.
I don't know what will happen. Try and error yourself. Remember to backup first.

Add superSU.apk to /system/app/ before flashing.
You can disable superuser after flashing. Go to Settings -> Superuser -> Settings -> Superuser Access -> Disabled

I don't encounter any issues you mentioned in my NativeSD install.
Make sure you have a proper SD card (class 6 or 10).

Have you tried putting the SuperSU.apk file into the room zip before flashing? It would be added to the /system/app directory of the zip. Once the rom is installed run SuperSU, give it root rights and it should download and install the required su binary. I can't try this to confirm but it should work.

Hi tytung,
Help ! I've disabled superuser, but now (as I always don't manage to install SuperSU) superuser has disappeared from settings so I can't reactivate it by this way. I've reinstalled your rom, but superuser is always not visible (and I've lost root rights). How can I get superuser back ?
Thank's
