NexusHD2 Android Forum

I wasn't able to find if someone already asked something similar, so sorry if a question like this was already put on this forum.

Is there someone has tried both ROMS (NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1.3 V2.7 / NexusHD2-KitKat-CM11.0 V4.7)?
Wich one is better?
Pros and cons?

Currently I'm using NexusHD2-JellyBean-CM10.1.3 V2.7 (NAND with DataOnEXT, LEO512), it's quite OK but I'm curious to know other feedback (e.g. I dont know if it's so true the kit kat requests less memory...)

The two versions are differents... The first ROM is a Jelly Bean version, and the second is a KitKat ROM. I prefer the KitKat version.

Of course, I know. I'm speaking about performance and so on

Hey guys i got a problem with data on ext, for some reason after i finish installing android (any type of android starting from 4.0.4 to the latest 4.4.4) i reboot of course, i get htc logo and then immediately my phone get on a black screen, just black screen no logo nothing, only black screen, really strange.

It works everything if i install Nand or Native sd, everything works like a charm but for some reason though Data on ext won't boot.
Of im gonna post what i do if could help:

1- task 29
2- magldr
3- format my sd
4- minitol partion wizard (primary fat 32 with 32 kb cluster size) and then 2nd partion primary ext4 (i do it with ext recovery whyle saving my fat 32 primary 1st partition) for some reason i can't create any ext4 partition with minitool partition wizard so i do it with ext recovery
5- usb flasher, repartition (it depends what room im installing of course now im trying 4.4.4 so 320mb full install)
6- ad recovery and toggle usb storage to copy my room
7- install room data on ext, everything goes well, then reboot
Then after reboot, htc logo, then black screen happens

Important: i make sure to see if my sd card is well partitioned after using both minitool partition wizard and ext recovery, i just open M.P.W. and see if it's all ok, but i don't think tha's the point because even when i install native sd, i got to do same process to partition my sd card and guess what, never had problems.

Please if you had any type of problems like this and you solved, hit me up.

I've tested only native sd (needles to say this) and cm 10.1.3 seems to be the best one in terms of performance even though i've always got better performance using cm9 4.0.4 (beast one right there)

Always talking about native sd though, i posted something wich tells why didn't talk about your case of data on ext.

Chage the 320 to 400 and try it again...

Thank you man, i guess even for other rooms like 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 the problem should be the repartition.

I Am happy HTC HD2 onwer!
1. Now I was install NexusHD2 v4.6 ROM and it realy cool! BUT. I have some problems. I can't enter cwm recovery. Only can enter color screen with radio info etc ( volume down+power). remember me please, how to enter recovery mode if I already could that earlier, before installing that ROM. My be I must do anything or already made bad thing. Hapl me please. I cant read 190 pages again.

2. Another problem is often black screen parts appears in some programs: browser, aliexpress, etc.

3. And third problem - is lighting sensor - is it works? screen always darker then usually.

Because all initial new user posts are screened to prevent spamming (blatant advertising posts).

Hi everybody..
I'm using the NativeSD virgin of this ROM on my HD2 512MB using a uSD 32 GB Class 10 (17 GB Fat32, 4 GB Ext4, and 8 GB for WP) while My NAND is occupied by WP 7.8
When I installed this ROM it was so smooth but after some time of usage it starts to be slower more and more.
Now I can't do any thing because if I open my Facebook it may take 5 min to open, and if it request to open the browser it will go on a coma and hung up for hours.

This dramatic event repeated for every ROM I have been installed. I don't know why. please if anybody know what I have to do inform me.

Is it possible because I need more RAM? Have I to remove WP 7.8 to release its space? or NativeSD doesn't use the NAND as RAM, does it use the uSD as a RAM or It uses the internal memory of the HD2?

Please Help!
