Did anyone get Android Native Encryption to work? It should be in Settings -> Security -> Encrypt Phone. But it isn't. Maybe just a .cfg-Tweak like the above?

I have tried Youtube on my HTC HD2 and it ran smoothly ,no conflicts whatsoever has been present as in the " force close " you've mentioned.

However giving this information I must add that the Youtube version installed on my phone is the version 5.10.1.5
This seems to work perfectly with out any mishaps once being initialized , so...in context.

1) Go to Settings - Apps - and select the application.
2) Clear app data and
3) Clear cache
4) Restart the application

This should work for you cause the application data and error log has been removed and can start with a fresh start.


My advice to you would be if not done prior to the use of the application to remove this with GooglePlay "My Apps" option.
Select the app again in the search bar and install it ,if all is well google play system would scan your kernel and device to download the right file in order to parse and install correctly.

For the record....all applications use a amount of stored data and cache contents. Some would work a bit clunky if there is to much info stored that Android will not add any more info to due to system folder byte size.

A good suggestion would be to install "App Cache Cleaner " and let it run with your system. This clears the App data and Cache of your phone and applications ,and gives the device a fresh start each time a application is open.

Art is still in development stages and hopefully it will be progressive in time. However faster and bigger in size compared to Dalvik ,it is known to conflict with certain applications in such way that most wont even startup or work properly.

Suggestion would be to try ART-runtime on a device you may not be using at the moment ,for the issues in the runtime environment are still yet to be uncovered.
