The same has happened to me. I think it is from the disk checking done by TWRP. There is a setting in TWRP, and probably in other recoveries, to check partitions every certain number of boots. The bigger your SD card, the longer the check will take.

Correct, I believe the default is to check every 16 boots. Because I have so many bad blocks I've set mine to check every 10. If you have a large ext4 partition it takes a few minutes to complete, this is especially true the first boot after a clean install.

What issue?
Anyway, uninstall all VoIP apps if you have.
Or do a fresh install, and then install your preferred apps one by one to find out which app causes the problem.

The freeze while accepting call. I have no VoIP apps or anything that would interact with calls.

please can you post a logcat, use catlog or alogcat from market. It would help tytung in finding out what your problem is, since he obviously doesn't have this problem.

Anything in particular I should look for or should I attach the whole log?
Only thing marked as error is this

It's better to do it in a fresh install because only one or two users had this freeze issue which might be the user's wrong configuration or hardware issue.
And please tell us how to reproduce the freeze while receiving a call. Please describe it as detailed as possible.
Then post your logcat to http://logcat.miui.us/
Please also tell us the time in the logcat when the freeze happens.
Thank you.
E.g., it's about 09-07 16:32:50.730 when the event (qcom video decoder in this example) is working.
Code: Select all
09-07 16:32:50.730: I/OMXCodec(4229): [OMX.qcom.video.decoder.avc] AVC profile = 66 (Baseline), level = 30
09-07 16:32:50.730: D/QCvdec(4229):  VDEC Open with new H 360 and W 640
09-07 16:32:50.730: D/QCvdec(4229):  Height 360 adjusted to 368

I had similar problems with a sandisk UHS1 SD card and some other ROMs. Since I'm using a Transcend Class 10 SD-Card these problems are gone.

Thanks everyone!!! I waited longer and it did boot up, however, once booted and loaded, screen kept blanking out and phone became unresponsive. Hi Andropest, is the Transcend a UHS-1 also? What size are you using? Do you have the model number? How long have you been using this? Thanks!
